Kamorth- Your school must have been more picky then mine, because showing your work for 5x25 would be:
25 x
05
--------
125
and thats it. If you arent allowed to use a calculator, it would look like this:
25 x
05
---------
2
25 x
05
======
5
---------
10+2
25 x
05
-----------

= 125
If that makes any sense, which if you have seen it before it might. Also, for the calculator, just do it the way you know works. If its something you can do fast right now, it shouldnt be something to worry about.

Everyone says, "All you have to do is call. It's not that hard."
But I can't. I just can't. Not for lack of knowing how to use a phone. It just terrifies me. I have no idea why.
Same here I used to have an extreme phobia of phones. Really hilarious as I got an IPhone from my friends(for when I was in the hospital) and I do love the thing but actually calling with it is still difficult for me. Not as bad as it used to be but I still need a few minutes to compose myself.

I hate talking to people on the phone. If its someone I don't know very wel or haven't spoken to in awhile I refuse to talk. My Uncle and my Grandpa are the worst because I hardly ever see them...
I would be a good person to call because I feel perfectly okay going about my business with a silent phone, even if someone is on the other end.

Something that I could never do that everyone else seemed to know how to do is history. Last semester I was in history and everyone seemingly knew what they were supposed to do without the teacher telling them. I had no clue, maybe it's because I crashed (ninja-like) in her class or maybe I wasn't paying attention but everyone just knew except myself. I was surprised I actually passed her class (with a D....)

That made me laugh, thank you. I'm not trying to fix the problem, it was just something that bugged me at school... 20 years ago. The 5x25 thing sticks in my head because I had a huge figh with my teacher over it. The 3 marks for showing working were all that stopped me getting 100% on a test, and that mattered to me back then.
I use multilinks and click pages at a time. I click all adoptables and keepers, and return clicks where I can.

on paper, i cant do fractions, algebra, division, and i require a calculator for multiplication. I can write to an extent but i make a lot of errors and my vocabulary is astonishingly lacking in many areas. I cant portray thoughts verbally so im often given the wrong impression.

I also have a hard time writing because of the condition my hand is in that is used for writing and drawing and people complain to me that i take too long or i dont write clear enough. I also have been accused and taunted on over not being able to read quickly and have been omitted from doing my share in groups doing book reports because they feel that im too slow.

I do not understand sarcasm. I understand irony, but i cannot understand sarcasm. Or jokes. If someone makes a 'funny' that seems even mildly logical and plausible, i will actually believe it or question it logically until i get to the heart of the joke which at that point is not funny anymore for anyone.

I also cannot handle jokes that involve doing something to someone. Or the 'fake beating' where someone grabs you and pretends to beat on you or choke you without actually touching you. I always flinch and am noticeably scared and hurt when people do that to me. I also react in a similar matter when being threatened by getting tickled. I dont respond to the feeling of being tickled well at all.

People often times cant understand why i do the things i do and how i do them. Everyone tells me how to do something but i always find it too challenging or unreasonable. They say its the proper way to do it when in reality, depending on what im doing in the first place, theres usually many different ways to approach the topic at hand and come out with the same results in the same amount of time or less without making a mess of anything.

Oh yea, a really bad one.. i cant understand handwriting. I cant handwrite, and i cant read handwriting. Ive only ever learned how to sign my name and its really crude at that. I also dont understand how people can have all their fingers on specific keys on the keyboard and type like that. I have tried, i have had classes teaching me how to do it, but i could never understand it and i would type at a snails pace since i'd have to look at every key to find the one i needed to press. I have always typed faster by free handing it.

I can't do almost any Maths beyond what you learn at about English year 7- I can't understand converting decimals into fractions and percentages and vice versa, I don't know most of my times tables, I can't grasp calculating angles, I can't do trigonometry or any of that stuff, I can't divide most things, I can't find significant difference or all of those statistical tests ... Basically, I'm doing a degree but I have the Maths skills of a ten-year-old. I just don't seem to be able to learn it or even concentrate on it; whenever I see numbers, I just 'switch off'. My Maths teacher once replied to me asking for help my telling me to "go back to sleep".

I don't have a signature. I can't understand banking, credit cards or how to use a chequebook. I have no sense of direction or memory for places. I can never remember people's names or sometimes even their basic existences. My speling and tpying skills anre prettymawful, so if I don't coreect it all the time int looks like tis. (Might not be just MY problem, though...) I can't do small talk or mingling, but that might be to do with my Asperger's. I will never, ever be able to fully grasp tact.
