I have 16 piercings, 7 in each ear, one in my lip, and another. I used to have my eyebrow done but it got ripped out when I was 16.
I plan on getting snakebites done {bottom lip piercings that look like snakebites, hence the name, can google it if you wish} as well as corset piercings down my sides, not really sure if I will go through with that one, though I love them.
I don't have any tatoos yet, sadly, no money to do so. But as soon as I can I will be getting probably quite a few. Already have a few picked out for almost every part of my body except face, and a few other spots.
Anyways, I find both piercings and tattoos amazing, usually the tattoos have some story behind it, and look pretty cool, and piercings just look "hot" to me I guess. I have always been drawn to people who had tattoos and piercings as well. I just hate when people think that since you have them you are some delinquent or bad person.

Ouch, that must have hurt a lot.Jynxii wrote:I have 16 piercings, 7 in each ear, one in my lip, and another. I used to have my eyebrow done but it got ripped out when I was 16.
I would like to get a tattoo, but I'm not really sure about the motive although I'm having an idea for some years. (I want to be 100% sure before getting it tattooed).
I won't be able to get visible tattoos or piercings (besides in the ears), because of my work.
If tattoos and piercings are don very well, I really enjoy looking at them. Some people just have amazing tattoos :-)

Oddly enough I didn't even notice it was ripped out until blood got into my eye.Elixir wrote:Ouch, that must have hurt a lot.Jynxii wrote:I have 16 piercings, 7 in each ear, one in my lip, and another. I used to have my eyebrow done but it got ripped out when I was 16.

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
Do you have or do you plan to get piercings or tattoos?
I have both of my ears pierced, I got done professionally, but in my left ear I pierced my lobe again myself. It bled alot but didn't hurt at all. I got my tongue pierced, but I took it out almost immediately because I felt I wasn't ready. I want to get more piercings, perhaps a tattoo, but i have to be 100% sure before I ever do.
What do you look for in a piercer or someone who does tattoo work?
How professional they are, and for tattoos, quality and skill. I would never settle for someone inexperienced.
Do you prefer line art, shading, or full colour?
Line art. Maybe colour, but I love how solid black lines look on skin and hate how bright colours seem to fade.
Answered the questions I could.
I LOVE piercings and tattoos. I find them to be gorgeous/fascinating/inspiring/attractive and just all around cool.

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
I've been considering tattoos for a while now (I'll be 15 this year), but I'm really wimpy (I have a low pain thresh hold) and I'm not sure if its just like a little prick or if its like a full needle going in like 50 times or something.
My plans are a four leaf clover, representing my Irish heritage, which I am quite proud of, a Japanese character (not sure which, willing to accept suggestions though) because I find Japan and Japanese culture quite interesting, and an animal (not sure which animal).
I don't quite care whether it's full shading, coloured or just line, but I do prefer colouring or shading over mere lining.
So yea. It'd be nice if someone helped me out with those two things.
I know that some people think that one thing doesn't hurt much when another person would think that it hurts a lot, so second opinions would be helpful. xD

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
With the needle, it's like a vibration almost. It goes into your skin and basiclly just dyes your skin cells. It will hurt varying on where you get the tats done at. I'm 14 also, but I help my cousin (He's 25, and a tattooist, AND freestyle artist) once in a while so I know a little bit. It (needle) doesn't go in very far to your skin, but it feels like bee stings, but a little worse (not much).TheStrangeWeirdo wrote:I've been considering tattoos for a while now (I'll be 15 this year), but I'm really wimpy (I have a low pain thresh hold) and I'm not sure if its just like a little prick or if its like a full needle going in like 50 times or something.

As for suggestions, the Japanese character should be of one you enjoy or like the most, and the animal, I suggest: an owl (symbol for wiseness), a wolf (they're just awesome), or your favorite. xD hope this helps you.

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
I must agree with you there, wolves are pretty epic.
As to the owl, I'm not very wise, so I don't think I'd get it. xD
Maybe a black panther or a bangol tiger, first because they're just awesome and the second one because it represents fierceness (I so fierce xD).
I was thinking maybe the japanese kanji for luck. I just hope I don't jinx myself by getting it tattooed into my body. xD
My sister already has a four-leaf clover on her neck and a japanese character on her ankle.
What are some of the places where it doesn't hurt so much? I'm definitely putting my clover on an easily visible place though. xD

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
I love tattoos and piercings! Unfortunately I have a condition where I scar quite badly so I've had to remove my piercings [except in my ears where I have 2 holes each] but I'm still continuing on with the tattoos.
Currently I have 7 tattoos and each of them mean something very special to me.
On my right foot I've got a panda bear (for my daughter) and a moon and star (I'm Wiccan and it represents my Goddess)
On my right ankle I have the Chinese symbol for love with my husband's initials.
On my lower back [my tramp stamp haha] I've got a unicorn that my daughter picked out for me.
On my upper back I have all 3 of my children's names.
On my left forearm I have the Chinese symbol for prosperity and longevity (My husband has a matching one in the same spot. We got them shortly after we got married to symbolize what we wanted in our marriage)
And finally on my neck I've got a bumblebee made to look like he's flying out of my hair. Why a bee you ask? Because according to physics and the rules of aviation, a bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly. His wings are too small for his body, yet he flies anyways. It's a reminder to myself that no matter how much someone tells me I can't do things, I can do anything that I put my mind to.
So far as gauging goes, the second hole in my ears is gauged somewhat. Right now it's only a 16. I plan to make it larger but not too large. I don't find it attractive when people have their ear lobes stretched clear out...

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
Hmm, I would have to say the least pain would probably be shoulders, back, or anywhere with not alot of muscle. Your feet and hands would be good too, but more pain than it would be on your shoulder. I plan on getting a sunflower on my left shoulder blade, a saying on my right stomach side, a < 3 on my neck behind my ear, and another saying on my wrist. xD Plus I'm gonna be gauging my ears soon.TheStrangeWeirdo wrote:I must agree with you there, wolves are pretty epic.

Re: Piercings and Tattoos
Well, despite the more pain, I guess I'd have to put the clover on my right hand. xD
Animal on my back, then maybe the character on the underside of my left forearm?
