Awww, man. JenJen had 3 kittens on Leap Day. One went to a new home a couple weeks ago. The other two went yesterday. They didn't need to nurse, but they would. Today, poor JenJen is wandering around calling for her kittens.
She's throwing herself down in front of her 4 week old grandchildren. The best she gets out of them is crawled over and her tail nommed.
I think I'm gonna cry. :t-pout:

Currently have 2 rabbits. I've had many pets except a cat or dog. My parents aren't up for it.

I have a Snowshoe cat, named Vladimir. He is the best cat I could have ever asked for! He is a rescue cat and I got him from the Humane Society in my town when he was 5 months old. Vlad is now 3 years old. :)

Never have seen such an awesome personality in a cat before. However, he is terrified of boys/men. Haha. Loves the girls though, of course.

My last pet was a parakeet (budgie). She was absolutely wonderful. She was a bright yellow color and unlike most female parakeets could talk quite a bit! Though she could be hard to understand 'cause she said most of it in a growly undertone. She would give this really cheerful chirp-chirp when she was happy.

One of the best things about her was that she knew she was my little birdie. When I was gone from my house on a youth trip or whatever she would always react to my name, chirping and looking for me. She liked to cling to my shirt sitting right by my mouth and listen to me talk to her. She would talk and whistle back, so it was almost like we were having a conversation.

I found out that I'm allergic to feathers! Makes me really sad 'cause my favorite pets are birds! (I was so used to birds as pets that one time while babysitting my neighbor's cat I whistled at it, the cat's reaction was much different than a bird's!)

I don't have any pets currently. Last ones I had were a pair of guinea pigs, called Almond and Conker. Almond was a cheeky little thing, who liked to sit on my chest and either "talk" or nibble my lips. He also liked burrowing under my top. Conker tended to be a little quieter. He was more likely to jump at sudden noises or movements, and remained quite a nervy little thing. The only time he would get vocal was at feeding time. Then they'd both squeal their heads off at me!

This is my kind of topic! Pets, pets, pets. I don't even know where to begin.

First of all, I live on 8 acres of land with huge dog runs and ect. Just so you guys don't think I'm cruel.

I have 18 dogs of my own, and another few that are just temporary until they find good homes. I'm very attached to every one of them. I even alternate them sleeping in my bed. Sometimes, it gets overwhelming. These guys are spoiled though! I live on my grandparents old property and my grandparents loved dogs just as much as I do! There's a dog house in the run that's the size of our living room, with heating, couches and ect.

I, for the most part, train my own dogs. I hate to admit it, but of course, there is one specific pooch I'm attached to. She's a Siberian Husky and her name is Mischief. I've had her since she was a puppy, for 8 years. She is absolutely precious to me.

I never intended to have so many dogs. Most of them, I was just taking in to rescue... And I grew attached.

On that note, I also have three cats and two horses.

Animals are absolutely precious to me!

Wow, that's a lot of dogs. I'd be concerned weren't it for your mention of how much room you have. No shame in having a particularly special pet.

Since summer has come, and things are heating up, we've moved Luna (the guinea pig) downstairs. She seems quite happy about it. She gets let out more in my room (my mom doesn't want her peeing/chewing in her room), and it's less stuffy.
