Her name is Bici. ^.^

We found her in the street when she was about 1 month old. She had her eyes closed because of an infection. We took her in and took her to a vet. A week later the infection was gone and she was playing around like a healthy kitty.

Now she is 2 years old and a fully grown cat.
So adorable! MY cat Salem (pic above yours) is 1 year old and seems to still be growing. He was found as a stray kitten about 5 weeks old by my friends Ex. and like a month earlier i had to put my adult cat down as he had diabetes and i didnt know it because i had adopted him. Poor salem was infested with fleas. me and my friend spent a good 35-40 min picking dead fleas off after bathing him.

Yay for reptiles! :D We've only got a few for now, as we live in a tiny apartment, but here they are!

Liquid and Ocelot are our two ball pythons. We brought them home from a local Petland Discounts last year, in February. They were about 2 months old at the time, which means they'll be 2 soon. Liquid is a male and Ocelot is our female. Since we purchased them together unexpectedly (bringing home one was expected, but not getting both hehe) and we couldn't exactly purchase a whole 2nd setup, we housed them together. By the time we were able to afford a new tank and everything, we decided they'd been together for long enough, so we might as well leave them together XD

Myrcella and Vhagar are our two new leopard geckos purchased earlier today. Yes, I'm so excited I had to post about them somewhere  They're both females, both hatched on 7/1/17. We went to an expo with the intention of getting my daughter her early 5th birthday present, and I ended up getting one for myself, but they'll be living together as well. Myrcella is mine and Vhagar is the one she chose - funnily enough, Myrcella likes me more and Vhagar likes my daughter more anyway! We also brought home a tub of dubia roaches to keep and feed to them.

Considering everybody is posting pictures and talking about them I would have shown the photos with the image command, but the pictures are too big, so I posted the links instead, lol.

This is smol fluff doggo, and she's named Snickers. Shes a floofy mutt we got from the local veterinary clinic, my parents went in to get medication for my other dog, (below) and there were a bunch of puppies in a box receiving a check up. Snickers was the smallest bean in the box, and was a rescue. We know for sure she's an Australian Shepard mix, and maybe a bit of lab. But we're unsure about her other parent, besides the Aussie.

Trigger warning for story below, just skip it if you don't want to read it.

It was December of 2014, I believe, when local cops were notified of a crank house, (crank is a term for a type of drug) and subsequently arrested the guys(or girls, you never know) that were involved. When everybody left, the authorities had no clue about the litter of puppies in the back yard. It was winter, and where I live, its practically Canada, I jokingly call where I live 'Not-Canada.' So its really cold, like really cold. Once it got so bad the people that went to primary school, got an extra week of snow days after Christmas vacation, so it was kind of an extended Christmas vacation. We referred to as the snow-apocalypse. (but the apocalypse happened a few years later than Snicks' rescue, I just wanted to show how cold it could really get here) The neighbor heard the crying of puppies and went onto the property to save my doggo and her brothers and sisters. We're unsure what happened to mama dog, but what we do know, is that she died and couldn't take care of her puppies anymore. The neighbor took care of them, and brought them for cvheck-ups n' stuff, which is how Snickers became part of our family.

This is large thicc doggo, her name is Bonnie. She's a Great Dane, who is a blue merle. She's a bit chubby, but after going on a diet she's thinned out quite a bit. In this photo she's wearing her snow booties. She's got some health issues, sadly, but we love her anyways. She has problems with her liver, and we've thought she wouldn't make it, but she did. I knew she would. She's a big lover, and she's a happy bean now, with her sisters, Snickers, and Allison, the cat.

https://orig00.deviantart.net/0232/f/20 ... brqnjl.jpg
This is Allison, she's the smol floof catto with bright green eyes. We're unsure of her actual heritage, as we were told she's an American shorthair, and I think it's kinda obvious she's not a shorthair. (also, shes not fat, shes incredibly short and naturally slim-built under her, shes just really fluffy, like super fluffy. She could be her own superhero with the fluff she has) Some people have said she is most likely a mix, but that she definitely is mostly a Siberian, and upon reading the Wikipedia right now, it says they're hypoallergenic, which means they're anti-allergy, say a person who's allergic to a cat pets Allie, and wont get hives. This is incredibly true, as my parents are incredibly allergic to cats, and got Allison for me after my old dog, Topaz passed on. I don't have a picture of Topaz though, but she was a gray standard schnauzer with cropped ears and tail. My parents can tolerate Allison just fine, and don't get hives even if she plays a bit too rough and scratches them. Allie is a grumpy cat, mostly hanging around my mom and sleeping on my parent's bed. But some days I can get in a pet and a small headbutt(how cats say hello) to her, and on rare occasions she sleeps on me, or purrs. Shes grumpy, but I love her.

https://orig00.deviantart.net/d76f/f/20 ... brqnfo.jpg
Last but not least, this Sabrina. (albeit in an old photo lol) She's a petite little sorrel mare with a star on her head, and her mane and tail fades to black, giving it an almost, 'singed' look. Shes a Morab, a mix between a morgan and an Arabian, but we refer to her mostly as an Arabian due to her petite build and sloped face. She's very sweet towards me, and is rather afraid of male humans, we think she went through some tough stuff in her younger years due to this fact, but she tolerates their presence none the less. She's used mostly for Western riding, but some people have ridden her English before. Big sweetie, and a great therapist and friend.

Kitties! :wee: :yey:

Recently I found a new respect and appreciation for the Persian Cat breed. At first I was kind of neutral about them, longhair cats are not really my thing (due to shedding) and most had faces that looked rather angry. But now I realize that Persians are beautiful cats (maybe not the most beautiful because all breeds are lovely in their own special way) and it was all because of a pretty little tortie kitten.

That is my weakness for cats. Kittens and tortoiseshells. The latter is kind of complicated to explain, but also would come across as being silly.
The Wishlist in my profile is outdated (I can't quite figure out how to edit it now, so many of the creatures there have already been obtained).

Gift ideas: Really am looking for a Varja Crystalwing for future breeding of pygmies and Gemdragons.

Aww there’s so many cute animals here! Right now I only have a dog, two rats, and fish, but I’m hoping to get more soon! :)
My dog is Casper, he’s a black and white Shih Tzu. I got him for Christmas when I was around 7, and he was the best present I’ve ever gotten! He loves going on walks and playing, but he’s content to curl up on my lap and sleep the whole day too.

My rats are Smudge and Echo, two brothers I got from a local pet store in the mall. I had to beg my mom for months before she would even consider adopting what she considered vermin, but it was totally worth it! They’re so cute and loving, and Echo especially is super smart! I’ve even taught him how to a couple tricks! Smudge on the other hand is kind of lazy, and would much rather cuddle up with me while I read or something.

I also have a freshwater fish tank! I currently have a pair of angelfish, three rainbow fish, a couple different kinds of tetras, and an albino bristlenose pleco :)

I’m asking for a betta fish for Christmas, so hopefully I’ll be able to add a dragonscale to my list of pets :)
Please click! :)

I've got two reptiles, a fish, and two cats. ^.^

Today I'll post about Donner, our goldfish.

Image

Donner was a fish that was part of an aquaponic set up. If you don't know what they are, basically the water from a fish tank gets used to water plants, and the fish waste acts as fertilizer.

The owner of the aquaponics set ups ended up getting sick. While he was away he was having a friend care for the fish, but had the set ups covered, since he wasn't there to tell people about them and sell them. He told his employees not to touch the set ups, so they trusted that the lady that was supposed to care for them, was.
After the owner passed away, my boyfriend and his coworker were cleaning the shop and decided to uncover the tanks, so they would look better for the memorial event that they were going to be hosting. When they did that, they discovered that one of the tanks still had a fish in it. That tank used to have two fish in it, but now there was only one, and not even enough water to completely submerge the fish, his top fin was sticking out. The only reason he survived was because he ate his tank mate, who passed away, which they were informed of by the person that was supposed to be caring for them when they asked her why she hadn't been caring for the fish. (That's also how Donner got his name, after the Donner party that had to resort to cannibalism to survive. )
My boyfriend got to work refilling the tank with the only thing they had at the shop that would hold water, a gallon jug that was cut in half. It took quite a long time, as you can imagine, refilling a whole tank. He then fed Donner, and looked up fish care so he could take care of him properly.
When we bought our townhouse, my boyfriend bought a fish tank, and we moved Donner in!

Four years later, Donner is 14" long, and still gets excited every time he sees my boyfriend. He begs for food, and has so much personality.

Here he is now. We're working on getting him a bigger tank, but our water heater went out and we had to get a new one -.-

He's pretty big xD
The interesting part about that is, if he hadn't been neglected when he was little, he'd probably be even bigger. Lol.

@giantredpanda
ooh big fish are really impressive, but fish really get mistreated easily, don't they? I've found a love for fish more and more lately and... my mom beat me to it, by getting 5 or 6 aquariums... the sofa in our living room won't fit properly because of them ^_^'

@SpaghettiWaffles
That's one super adorable hamster ;3; I absolutely adore hamsters even if I'm a little bit scared of being bit, but they are seriously the most precious things! So soft and adorable, and surprisingly interesting to just watch or play with.

I kind of really miss having pets around more now, living on my own is tough when you're not even allowed to have a cat. not that they'd have it well with me right now but... coming home to my parents is nice so I can visit my cats. It feels nice to notice that they've missed me too. I'm down to two cats and it's really kinda sad, I miss having more animals around me :,(
