maislecakes that's understandable, lots of spoopy stuff. You can't see anything in the dark, who knows what's lurking...and who knows what clowns are truly thinking/feeling. Same with dolls, their creepy unmoving faces...eugh is right.
My biggest phobia has always been spiders, even typing the word freaks me out. Huge fear. Lucky enough to live in a place where it's too cold so they aren't that common, but we do have insects like daddy long legs, and the biggest we have is wolf spiders.
I watched a documentary (covering my eyes a lot) of people overcoming their phobias, and one of the groups was arachnophobia. Maybe more terrified than I was, the lady could barely go to parks with her kids because of it. The only way they were able to overcome the phobia was to face it, and I completely get that. But I don't know if it's worth it, though I would love to travel I don't know if I could handle possibly seeing more spiders than I've ever been used to seeing here. Seriously, when summer hits and the daddy long legs come out I'm on edge going outside and it's not uncommon for me to scream/hyperventilate.
(sorry that was long lol)
