This happened only a few months ago, I moved out and had to find a new house. I was messaging my friends about it and one of them had a spare room in his house and said I could use it as accommodation until I buy a house or rent a place. I went to his house with all my stuff and he showed me to the room and so I packed all my stuff in the cupboard and wardrobe, after this I was very, very tired. I strolled through the landing after exiting the room acting like I owned the place, I strutted into Jordan's room and he invited me to sit on his bed so I kindly took the offer and did so. Jordan was a massive online gamer and was playing Unreal Tournament. Becca ( my girlfriend at the time ) texted me and Jordan asked passively who texted me, so I told him it was only Becca and he carried on playing his game but after about 20 seconds of silence Jordan stopped playing and turned around to me and started talking about an app called Tinder. I knew it was but did not have it installed so I didn't really know what he was talking about but I pretended I did. Jordan finished off his game and shut down his computer. He threw his body onto the bed like a rag-doll making the bed frame creak. Unlocking his phone with touch ID, he began to talk about the dating app, he was blabbering on and on about it, whilst doing so he was flicking left and right on his phone screen I didn't know what Jordan was doing so peaked over the screen and saw he was selecting girls to keep or not keep.

Jordan told me to download the app so I unlocked my phone and went onto the app store and installed it, after opening Tinder I was forced to make an account to continue so I got Jordan to do it for me because im lazy. by this time it was about 12pm and me and Jordan were tired so I slowly staggered off to the room Jordan let me sleep in. I closed the door of the bedroom and got ready for sleeping. Time was going and I was on my phone on this new app I downloaded, I was just flicking left and right and I was flicked right by someone else who I had flicked right. This girl ( for the sake of the story we'll call her Jess ) started texting me and I texted back forgetting about Becca stupidly. I and Jess texted each other for hours and I used almost 1,200 texts in that one night. Jess and I spoke for the next few days and the conversations were getting deeper and we started to really get to know each other, she asked to meet me in a few hours of the same day and I stupidly agreed. Rushing to get myself some food and look good I forgot that we had not even face timed or called on Skype. Driving down the road on the way to the restaurant I was a bit scared because if it wasn't who I thought it was then what might happen to me... Anyway, I went into the restaurant and ordered a table for two.

After about 20 mintues I saw a woman walk in, her face was exactly like the person I was talking to on Tinder. Confused, she started looking around for me and I waved at her and she smiled when she looked at me and walked over to me and took a seat, we had a basic conversation about how it was and how ours days were going and then we ordered food. The night progressed and we just talked about what you would on a first date, the night came to an end and we both exited the restraint giving each other a kiss and a cuddle, she told me she had fun and I had fun with her too but at that moment I remembered Becca.

On that night I went back to Jordan's house and told him what happened, I was really stressed and my body temperature was freaking out as much as I was. Pacing back and forth in Jordan's room, I tried coming up with a solution but I couldn't. I was heating the room up with all the heat I was producing so Jordan went to the window and opened the curtains and opened the window but before he locked it open he just stood there like he was possessed, staring into the dark of the night, I slowly walked over to Jordan with caution and tried to get a response from him but he just carried on staring out the window with a faceless expression. I gazed out of the window at where Jordan was looking and there was a woman in full black that looked like Jess standing there looking at the window with 2 big men who had guns by their sides. I hurried and shut the window and fast and hard as I could whilst pulling Jordan back and slapping him back into reality.

Vibrations made the desk shake a little and it was Jess phoning, I didn't answer the phone call or pick up my phone, I took another look out the window and she had given a hand signal for the two men to advance towards the house with guns at the ready, they followed her orders and I told Jordan what I was observing whilst still looking out of the window. A loud thumping noise came from downstairs and it was the men breaking into the house, I heard quiet foot steps moving slowly and cautiously up the stairs, I looked around in fear for something to block the door with and the only thing to block it with was the book shelf so I got Jordan to help me move it infront of the door. Banging came from the other side as we moved the bookshelf up to the door and then two men with scary muscular voices started shouting at us to open up or they will shoot. Scared for our lives we put as much of our weight on the door and kept the men from pushing it, but they did follow their word and opened fire through the door. Bullets barely missing my ankle and foot were smashing through the door making holes making dust fly everywhere, no bullets hit me or Jordan but I told Jordan to grab his phone and phone 911.

911 operators claimed to have dispatched S.W.A.T and Armed Police, Jordan dropped his phone after hanging up and it fell to the ground hitting it with direct impact and flipping a few times before landing on its back. The men carried on shooting through the door penetrating the glossed wood and then following through to take chunks out of the silk carpet on the floor. Eventually bullets stopped and some scurried footsteps were heard by me and Jordan. I told Jordan to hold the bookshelf and went back over to the window to see what was happening outside and upon my curiosity I saw the men walk back over the vehicle they were originally leaning against, they opened the trunk and got out a box and took something from it. Jess spoke to the men for about 2 minutes and the men walked back towards the house with black objects in their hands, it was too dark to see what they were I instantly ran back over to Jordan and pushed so hard against the bookshelf I broke one of the slots caused a few books to fall to my feet. Steps were coming back up towards us. I heard one of them punch a hole through the door and drop something in, it seemed like everything slowed down and all of a sudden I had a second adrenaline kick, acknowledging what it was I told Jordan to cover his mouth and nose.

Green gas started pouring out of this pill shaped looking grenade like a fountain and flooded the whole room. Struggling to breath I was forced to remove my hand from my face and give into the gas, my eyes were trying to adjust to the depth of field but they couldn't. I was phasing in and out whilst losing vision whilst finding it hard to cough. Sirens came blaring down the road and I heard lots of steps of feet and I can't really remember what happened after that because I blacked out but I know that me and Jordan are ok and you should NEVER trust anyone unless you have seen them on webcam.

Near death experiences are never fun.

I had one a little less insane but still shocking to me none the less. Let me tell you:

My dad is an avid christian, while I am not really the religious type, I would follow my dad to church on day he would be an usher/valet. The are the church is located in is not exactly the safest and too many car break ins caused the church to set up some sort of valet/usher system so that the cars could be safe guarded. No one gets aid its all volunteer and at the time my dad would volunteer. He usually guarded the cars across the street inside this fenced parking lot used normally for a trade school. The trade school owner allows the church to use the area knowing its decently safe since its surrounded by a fence lined with barbed wire at the top.

One night while my dad was guarding cars, my little brother and I had tagged along. I was about early 20s then meaning my brother was about 11-13. My little brother is autistic so I always following him around, keep him safe, and out of trouble. On that night it was a bit late and my brother and I were getting hungry. My dad noticed and offered to let us go to burger king and buy food for ourselves and for him as well as some coffees for the other valet/usher members. We agreed and made our way to the burger king located on the block to its right if you were to face the parking lot. My brother and I got there no issue, ordered our food, waited, and once ready made our wy out. As we reach the corner my dad shouts for us to stay there that he'll help us.

Dad: Ana, stay there, I'll go over right now and help you two.
Me: No its okay, Me and my brother got it.
Dad: are you sure?
Me: Yeah dad we got this no worry, I don't want you to leave the parking lot and get in trouble okay?
Dad: alright. Just be careful okay?

He was near the corner of the parking lot and the whole time we were talking my brother and I stood idly by simply talking. Not too far on the other side opposite the burger king was a major cross street with a traffic light. The whole time we were talking the light had been red. My brother and I being to cross with not problem towards the parking lot. I make sure my brother is ahead of me just incase. He get up on the side walk first, I follow and just as I am fully on the other side of the street I hear a car swerve by. It was this large pickup truck, a sort of rusted brown color trying to make a quick left turn from the main street to my left on to the smaller street behind me that I had just crossed. As it swerves at a speed that I can only imagine is a full 35-45MPH without slowing down, it climbs onto the sidewalk, takes down a sign in the corner dictating the whole 'No parking here on x day from x-x hours' and smacks into a fire hydrant not only knocking it over but hitting it so hard it flies across and lands a good 10-15 feet from where it was originally bolted down. My brother, my dad and I just stand there staring at this huge truck that literally drove and high speeds into the very spot my brother and I had just been standing on. The truck sits there for about a minute or so, backs up and then drives away. We are all in shock because if I had heeded my dad's word to stay put and wait for him to help us, my brother and I could have been that fire hydrant, smacked so hard we would have flown 10 feet from where we had been standing. It was absolutely terrifying to think that I had just cheated death because I decided to not stay put.

Its still sort of scares me now, to think that I could have died or been severely injured if I had stayed standing at that corner with the food and the drinks, waiting for my dad. That I could have been hit by that car and worse my brother too. Its absolutely jaw dropping to know that You unknowingly made a choice that saved your life. I am thankful that I am alive to tell this story, I am thankful I am in one piece and that my brother is too, because that crazy driver very well could have just ended us right then and there. The sign was bent and that fire hydrant which like all of them are bolted to the ground was literally thrown across approx 10 feet and just lay there near the drive in exit for the burger king. I swear, be thankful guys that you get to wake up every morning and breathe another day of life. Nothing makes you appreciate the fact that you don't die in your sleep or that every day you avoid death than nearly getting killed.

I have a number of these, but I'll only go into the most serious ones.

Also, I cannot bring myself to believe the first one. That's too much overkill and detail... no one would remember that. Just saying. It sounds too fake.

Some brief backstory...
-The inside speaker on my phone died, so I had to use speakerphone to make calls.
-It's spring finals week at college, and I am walking back from picking up stuff to move out (like trash bags.)
-I'd seen a moving truck, and called dad to suggest it for fall move-in.

I was crossing the street to get back to school, and the crossing light turns green (well, white). I stepped out... in front of a minivan, who was turning.
I was okay (Though I have a cool scar on my elbow now. It's round and bigger than a quarter.) but it was scary. I fell over backwards... and I was saved from a possible concussion by my hair. It was done kinda like this...

It actually stopped my head from hitting the road, since the mound of hair cushioned it.

I had a similar incident to the above three years ago. My bike was run over (with me on it) by a Fedex truck. I never caught a tag number... I really regret this. I still have issues with my bike frame. Had to replace the front tire. Best part of that one? I was on the SIDEWALK....

I had a near death experience in April 2015. I must say though, whilst I was dead, it felt so peaceful and calming - though part of me was confused. When I awoke, I was being carried down the stairs of my house and into an ambulance. It was quite scary. I spent a whole week and my birthday in hospital.

I once almost poisoned myself- never eating snow again.
Ever.

I was bouncing on my moms bed (Quite a few years ago.) for some odd reason. And I did a flip and you know those.. Err.. Sharp corners on dresser drawers? They actually are sharp. So I reached up to my head. (Like any Sane person would do.) and it was bleeding profusely. Still have a scar to this day.

I fell off a roof once. Got a concussion.
