I personally have an issue switching back and forth between two places in a role-play. Perhaps you might like this forum and be okay with sticking to that. Forum Link. I have yet to make a thread for the role-play as of yet, but my character is located under there. You guys may feel free to make an account and explore, although there is only one board for the moment, and one thread (which is where my character is located).

Do we maybe have a more consistent character form we could fill out? Instead of just each of us filling out whatever? I didn't have anything super specific in mind, but just something that's the same for all of us so that way we all have the info we'd like to know about all the characters.

And I don't mind whatever website we choose to use. I'm obviously a MS fan but the forum you linked seems great.

And I don't think I'm missing too much else to comment on other than I think the ideas that are floating around are great!

Since tomorrow's Mother's Day I won't be able to do much then but after that I'll try to work on my character.

I agree with the mutual form to fill as the two already used are pretty different. Do you have something in mind Fang? I feel like we might be a bit attached to our forms so since you haven't created one yet you can choose. As well with the new site it might be a bit of a hassle getting used to but if it has already been decided I'll figure it out.

Well, I usually go with really simple things for forms but I can craft one that has all the categories that you guys had as well so it's just all the same. This way we'll combine all the parts of our forms that we all think are important.

Also, with the other site, since it's a forum-type website, it'll work basically just the same as MagiStream does. Like all of the coding should be the same and whatnot.

I'm not sure why we all need to have the same form so long as we know who our character is. I'm fine with what Kali has on her form and the majority of the information on my form that is not on hers is for my own convenience and to get a better idea of the person I'm role-playing.

Also, so additional news; I'll be moving out through May and June. I'll also be doing lots of job interviews and job searching. So no rush on starting this role-play.

Well, to be honest, I have minor OCD when it comes to stuff like this. The uniformity of the forms is just a personal preference of mine, but if you guys don't want to do that then that's fine. Personally, I never think of forms as for me; I think of them as for my partners. I never really look back on my own forms because I don't like to stick to them too hard otherwise it inhibits character development. But that's just me so like I said, we can just do whatever for forms, but if you guys really don't care about what kind of things I put in there then mine will probably be less developed than the ones you guys have because I like to keep as many options open as possible. I'll try to do that within the next couple of days.

And I don't mind the wait; I've got a lot going on right now too so no worries there.

I agree that by sticking to strictly to the form it does impact character development, but my main point is that so long as we all have basic format it should be okay if each person adds a few extra details. Name, Age, Gender, Family, Job/Education, Basic Biography, Basic Appearance; that should be it for a basic form. Like I have likes, dislikes, and habits, along with income, family, personality, but thats for me to get a better idea of who the character is. Also to keep facts together, so I say her fathers name was Abacus but in 50 more posts his name changes to Dill (bad example). Also little details that I can remember are a part of her character development, like trying to quit smoking for good is a goal of mine. Also likes is isn't a complete list, its just to help get what her preferences would be and what she might choose and how'd she react to other things.
