Maaaaybe. What were your thoughts behind it?

I made a Gijinka that is a ditto. I was wondering if I can transform into Pokemon.

Ah, this is the second Ditto gijinka someone's wanted to do, so I'll post this info here instead of through PM.

Yes, they can, but with the following limitations:
-They can only change into Pokemon they've seen. (Which are rare, so it wouldn't be very many. We'll go with like three or four, tops.)
-They CANNOT change into Pokemon just from seeing that Gijinka species. (ie: They can't change into the Pikachu Pokemon just from seeing a Pikachu Gijinka.)
-They can change into other Gijinka forms, as long as they've seen those forms.
-They can't use a species' Shiny form at will; if they didn't see a Shiny, they can't be a Shiny.
-NO LEGENDARIES. I have plans for those, and they do not include the Ditto loophole. Atm.

I'm currently making the Gijinka. Also I have a question. Can I transform into Pokemon by seeing some pictures? Don't worry. I won't make her have to many forms or be to op.

Hmmm... Sorry, but I'll have to say she has to see them in person. One, because an episode of Pokemon comes to mind where Team Rocket captured a Ditto and tried to get it to turn into a Dratini by showing it a picture of one in a book, and it couldn't, which suggests Ditto must see the actual thing. Second, because even though I believe you in that you won't make her too op, the potential for her becoming so is high. She could just pick up an encyclopedia and boom, 300+ transformations just got uploaded.

I hope I'm not coming across as too strict or limiting, I'm really sorry if I am! Your character can definitely have the potential to meet more Pokemon in her travels, though, whether that be through meeting a Trainer, visiting a locale where a certain species is held in high regard, etc.

Ok. Can I make her transform into at least 5 Pokemon? If I want her to transform into another one but I already have all 5 "slots" taken my Gijinka will forget one. Sorta like a Pokemon move. Am I allowed to do that?
