Quick question Sorey? This probably won't have any bearing on the rp, but I'm curious. What constitutes as "first meeting" in terms of the count down? As in, if a person met their soulmate through the internet, would their timer hit zero during the first online chat, or when they first meet in person? What if they first met through a phone call (maybe called the wrong number or 3-way call with a friend)? What about webcam, like through those chatroulette things? Do the two soulmates need to actually talk for their timers to hit zero? What if they just exchange a passing glance while walking on the sidewalk or something? What about if someone's soulmate was a rockstar or something and they happened to be at a concert? Would their timer hit zero while watching them sing/play, or would it not happen until after the show when they're in a roaring crowd trying to ask for an autograph?

Hello! Sorry (haha Sorey) for not posting for a while but I can answer that.
The timer goes down to zero every time soulmates come within a certain physical distance from one another. It's a relatively small distance, but they have to have met physically in order for the timer to stop. In your concert metaphor, if the person whose soulmate was the rockstar was very close to the stage, then potentially the timers could stop, but otherwise it would have to wait until after the concert for anything to happen. Similarly, if two people are online friends but also soulmates, neither would be able to know this until they met up IRL if it came to that.

Oh okay, that makes perfect sense. So am actually interaction has to occur between the two characters? Out of curiosity, would they both need to be conscious for the time to hit zero? For example, if someone sitting next to their sleeping soulmate on a bus?

Nope! If one of them was asleep, the timer would still stop!
