Personality: Of all the teachers, Tamsin is one of, if not THE most, likely to catch a student in mischief and let it slide so long as it's harmless. She's a bit of a thrill seeker and risk taker, but she'd never endanger someone else. She's very brave and more than willing to pick a fight when standing up for someone. Unfortunately, during her student days, she was never very good at choosing her battles wisely; she'd just see someone getting picked on and jump right in. Consequently, she got her butt kicked a lot. It's unknown whether or not she has outgrown this flaw, as she doesn't find herself in these situations nearly as much these days.

Tamsin is a friendly person and rather out-going. She's a fan of a bit of fun and mischief as long as it's not harmful and in the right time and place. However, as hinted at earlier, she's quite capable of and willing to put someone in their place if she feels they've crossed a line. With Tamsin, though, it seems that line is more distinct in regards to other people than herself, but that doesn't mean she's a total push-over. She teases and jokes in good-nature, and swallows her own medicine, as the saying goes, without complaint or slight if someone throws it right back at her. In fact, she almost seems to enjoy it. At times, it can seem as if she doesn't take things seriously, which is sometimes true; other times, she might just be trying to ruffle the feathers of whoever is involved in the situation. She'll try to lighten a mood when it's dour, usually with some sort of joke, which, obviously, sometimes doesn't fly over all that well.

She's prone to being quick to act without thinking things through quite as far as she probably could, although she tries to work on it. She's also horribly, horribly directionally challenged, but Tamsin will vehemently deny this. She absolutely hates formal clothes and dresses casually whenever she can get away with it.

Tamsin has a love of animals and an affinity for just about every one she's met.
Appearance: Tamsin has long, light brown hair that is always kept up in a high pony, with feathered bangs swept to the left side of her face. Most of it can be tucked behind her ear, but there's always a stubborn bit of it that springs free and frames the very edge of her eyebrow and it drives her mad. Her eyes are a brown-green hazel, and she has a light sprinkling of freckles across the bridge of her nose. She's of average height, and due to how labor-intensive some of the creatures she handles are, her muscles are well toned. She has simple taste in jewelry, but never wears it, as it could either distract the creatures she works with or get caught on something. She also doesn't bother much with make-up, and those closest to her know that she hardly knows how to apply mascara, let alone a full face of... whatever else there is.
History: After graduating from Hogwarts, Tamsin had a hard time in finding the right job for her. Office jobs were very quickly ruled out after a boredom-induced small prank went awry that resulted in the entire office being plagued by tiny paper creatures whose sole meaning in life was to harmlessly harass their target in any way they could find. Also, Tamsin was just too restless to sit around all day with a quill.

After a number of years of job bouncing, Tamsin finally applied for the current job she has at Hogwarts, and she absolutely loves it.

Other:[/b Tamsin owns a behemoth of a dog named Mouse. He's 200lbs of mass and muscle with long, grey shaggy fur that is particularly thick around his neck, giving him a sort of leonine appearance. Despite his size and appearance, Mouse is a very playful, affectionate dog and seems to be highly intelligent. Tamsin has no idea what breed(s) he might be, she simply found him as a puppy. She named him Mouse because, at the time, he was a tiny little thing that never made a peep. Today, while not yappy, Mouse's voice can be heard from quite a distance when he feels the need to be heard, and his growl seems like it'd rattle the windows out of their panes, but generally he keeps his noise level down to excited whimpers and chuffing noises. He also seems to be aware of his owner complete inability to navigate, as he insists on escorting her almost everywhere.

Personality: He is bright, though brash and quick to act. He is a bit of a loud mouth and is always ready to voice his opinions or concerns . Deep down he is a king caring person though sometimes he does get into hot water with his friends and people who know him due to his motormouth. He is also very protective of those he likes and is eager to prove himself among those around him.
Appearance: He is tall, standing at about 6'2 with golden blonde hair. He keeps his hair in a bit of a military style with the sides cut close and the top being about 1 1/2 inches long. He has a medium build which makes him look a bit skinny with his height despite being decently muscular due to exercising regularly. Most of what he wears is somewhat plain, jeans, hiking boots, and either a flannel shirt or a thermal.
