The thing I really love about dinos is that we really don't have a lot to go on fat wise. So they could be super chubby things and we couldn't possibly know.

Actually...
we do know.

using comparisons from different animals and animals that fit similar neiches, palentologysts can determine what dinosaurs were chubby and stuff. like Ankylosaurus and all the sauropods were most likely really, really chubby while Iguanadons and other members of that family were thinner and more built for speed.
Kinda like this

Edit:

Also- kinda new dinosaur been rediscovered:

Deinocheirus
Basically- the platypus of the dinosaur world. Head of a hadrosaur and body of a therapod.

I guess I mean more like male displays? IDK. Take the iguana for instance.

Not entirely true ;)

Palentologyst for a while now have found feathered fossils, and fossil outlines of dinosaurs.
such as Sinosauropteryx (which was found to have brown and crean plumage)

Then you've got Anchiornis, which was the very first dinosaur to get colours that were scientifically accriate. I'm not 100% on how they actually done it, but it was something like the carbon dindicators on the feathers that they matched up with modern birds.

and the real awesome part?
Dinosaur Mummies

It's the only one found and has helped a lot with understanding Hadrosaur's anatomy. It's not strictly a 'mummy' there's no DNA or organic material left, but it's as close as we'll ever get to a live dinosaur before genetic engineering comes into play.

I've heard we've found bones of mammoths, T-Rexes, and a couple other dinos with bits of DNA left if the bone marrow because of how they were preserved, and, apparently, we could technically clone them??
*hugs bird dinos*

VERY RECENTLY there has been a mummified frozen baby mammoth with fur and some organs intact AND with congealed blood still in it's veins, so we can 100% clone a Mammoth. the T-rex thing... it's not true. DNA degrades pretty rapidly in time terms, I can't remember how long exactly, but fossils are actually rocks. as the bone degrades along with everything else, it's replaced by minerals. at least- that's my basic understanding of the process. That's why when I found the Archos rib 'bone' it was partially fossilized, only part of it was still organic and the rest was replaced by minerals, but there was still enough organic matter for my dog to actually eat, which she did. And I was very upset.

Here's the story of the Mummy Mammoth: Daily Mail 10,000 Year-old mummified Mammoth

Firstly, considering how overdue that post is, it's crap and I'm sorry. Also, Anelka is being a troublesome character and not working, so just pretend she's sort of there, following along, being her usual silent self, because I apparently can't write her right now.

I have been perfectly healthy for over a month now...and then today I got hit with a nasty headcold. I hate my life sometimes...

You have three chars Silver so don't worry. That's fine. It's a great post. I'm glad it's finally there. XD

And that sucks. XS Hope you get better soon.

I just saw a play through and all endings to season 2 of the walking dead game... I was sobbing so much and now I just feel depressed... So sad
