I've had an idea like, suppose mankind is the newest in an aliance of spacefaring races, and our characters, humans and/or aliens, are on an exploration mission, the humans as like, job training or interns? And the aliens are young and new at their jobs too but benefit from an intergalactic education and have to teach the humans about alien cultures and street smarts and the dangers of space or whatever? It'd probably be way more cartoon-like than super realistic scientifically, just, you know, a fun thing

That does sound fun! Any ideas for the alien race or races, or would that be something for folks to come up with individually?

I have a few ideas people could choose from or to use as examples but otherwise people would be free to make their own. I gotta draw them up... for now I'll just say its basically make what you want and have fun

Hmm, I made a bird-alien type thing a while back that I never got to use much, might be fun to bring in that! Would you do an alien or a human, Luna?

Honestly, does anyone else want to host anything? Im sorry, I really want to do somethung with you guys, I really really do, but I dont have the energy right now to run something myself. Anything you guys make Id be thrilled to join! Heck if someone wants to take one of my ideas and host it yourself you're free to do so right now... I just cant host right now, Im so sorry, I just... cant XS

No problem Luna, I totally understand. If you'd like, I can host the idea we were just talking about- it might not be particularly lore-heavy, since I don't have much experience hosting rps, but I'm sure I could do it. Vamp? What do you think?

Aye I think that would be a splendid idea and would love to join. I love the idea of an alien/human roleplay. Honestly I haven't seen one around in a while now a days you see more fantasy and mythical then really anything scifi-ish.

I would be more than willing to help out with the hosting if you want Silvre ^^ and having a few options on top of letting others pick their own alien creature would be really cool.

Welp I may have to rescind that offer to host something, things got crazy hectic all of a sudden and I've been pretty dead tired. I don't think I could handle creating enough content to make a full-fledged open rp, though maybe just we three could do a private one? Or a limited number of spots, at least. I like Luna's idea of the sort of human internship program, though if it were just the three of us I thought of a twist on it; early on in training, recruits that are lined up for a path to captaincy are paired with ship's computers, essentially AI robots given humanoid (alien-oid?) form. Humans are still the newest intergalactic race, and one is doing what essentially amounts to an exchange program or maybe a job shadowing with a captain-to-be and their ship AI. I honestly don't know what purpose having an AI ship would serve, but I liked the idea of a dynamic between a human, an alien, and an AI. Thoughts?

I think that sounds cool Silvre, though for the sake of customization, if we choose to have it be an open-er roleplay, maybe the captain-to-be humans are just an option for some people, so one wouldn't have to? I don't know, I agree that it sounds like a fun dynamic though
