Well yeah, typically something like that is definitely to be avoided. Usually your body will get sick if it really needs to and won't if it doesn't. I'm not recommending you make yourself vomit just cause of sick stomach. I've just had a couple scenarios in my life where I used that because what I had eaten was so terrible I could hardly walk due to the stomach pain and I knew I had to get it out but for some reason my body wouldn't do it on its own. It's a last resort sort of thing for that sort of stuff- and I've actually learned recently that you should NOT induce vomiting for ingestion of all poisons, only for some if you know what was eaten, cause apparently in some cases it can make it worse? *shrugs* Yeah, but at this point that's off topic. XP

If it is parasitic I've heard raw garlic is really good at killing those sorts of things, supposedly at least tastes wretched though. *shrugs* I'm just trying to help cause I feel really bad when my friends are hurting and I can't offer anything besides sympathy ahhhhh. XS I'm sorry if I'm not actually helpful.

I don't mind turkeys. They're just big dumb birds to me. They're literally all over Wisconsin. One bit my sister once. *loud shrugging* IDK they're like American ostriches maybe?

I don't think it's a parasite because all the food I ate was well cooked- at least the meat and fish and stuff, so I'm going to rule that out, mum asked the Pharmacist what we could do, and it was basically: "Eat little and often, take Gaviscon every time you feel burning, if it doesn't get better in a week, go to the doctor" So I guess we'll see :/

I worked with turkeys before. I love them xD they were so cuddly. AND turkeys are the actual size of a velociraptor! :derp: minus the tail

Okay I have never met a nice turkey. Not once. I worked at a wildlife sanctuary and interacted with everything from a turkey vulture to a florida panther. Turkeys were the most violent out of the WHOLE PLACE. They literally cornered me and attacked me before the deer came to my rescue. I had to fend them off with a dust pan. Horrible things.

And who hasn't heard of Ferguson? It makes me seethe with anger. Not only was the guy not even indicted he got off with paid leave. He killed a CHILD with his hand in the AIR and people donated to the ATTACKER more money than those below the poverty line make in 30 years. The entire militarization of police makes me want to take my uncles boat and sail into international waters AND STAY THERE. For gods sake people are having trouble just passing laws that ensures every police officer wears a body camera. Just because they are police doesn't mean they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions, yet that is almost exactly what is happening. And Mike Brown was not the first and he will not be the last. And that is truly terrifying.

I'm gonna stay out of the Ferguson issue...I'll just say I agree with Fairy and that's it. And point out that the majority of such cases happen in the South and New York City...Mostly, the two coasts are FAIRLY decent about it...California being another iffy spot when you get to Hispanics over blacks. *backs out of convo rapidly*

And I am such a horrible person guys...god, I'm so sorry! But I won't have ANY free time till Friday, possibly Saturday, because of Thanksgiving. I put in 40 hours of cleaning my house last weekend, and Wednesday and tonight are almost as bad.

Eh, I'm in Britain, so I don't know much about the actual case, just loads of people blowing up about it on Tumblr and stuff, I've had to unfollow a guy because he kept posting about it and said that all people who ignore the case are scum. But yeah, lets not go down that road.

Happy Thanksgiving, then Silver ^^ Go celibate the holiday, everyone needs a bit of cheer in their life x3

I'm too mad about Fergison right now I really shouldn't talk about it, same as Silver, not just Fergison but the brutality and racism of the police force that is worsening seemingly every month through the whole country. I feel sick and probably won't be able to sleep. I wanna do something to help I'm just so livid and my dad's being such a fricking racist about it.... I don't wanna talk any more then I already have about it. Family and Tumblr friends have been discussing it all day. Everything that can be said about it has already been said a hundred thousand times over and still there hasn't been justice. Only action is going to get the point across is what it looks like at this point. If I were part of that community I might be rioting too. They have every right to their anger and social justice has never won in this country through pacifism alone- a fact that media and history love to cover up.
I should shut up now I really should.

Anyway... Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a fun one...

Also WHAT??? Veloceraptors??? Seriously??? What were the human sized things in Jurassic park then? Whaaaa??

Yep, velociraptors were a lot smaller than they were portrayed in that film. :yarly:

I... probably shouldn't talk about it, same as y'all, but I feel the need to rage. I'm writing a recreational essay to spew my anger into (although I'm completely neglecting my NaNovel... oops. Last night I was literally too mad to right, though, I couldn't focus at all). In the same light, I've been seeing a lot of other non-Ferguson stuff, and it's legitimately scary. Why read about a dystopian society when you can live in one, right? Heh... heh heh... no. I'm legit scared.

Happy Turkey day everybody! Eat the foul (but delicious) fowl!

They were Deinonychus.
Y'see a certain Spielberg liked Deinonychus' size, but Velociraptor's name because it sounded more exotic, so he made the Turkey Sized Velociraptor into the man-eating Deinonychus.

Of course, the JP raptors also resemble Utahraptor, but the JP raptors have the skull shape of Deinonychus, so even then, Spielberg sized up the Deinonychus for his own movie.
