@Karzarill: would that work? Lucifer pretending to be Hot Lady. Though it'd take away the "WAIT I KNOW THIS MAN" moment from Shifting Ideals. Maybe the guise of being a travelling partner is better?

Haha yeah, I got it like 30 seconds after posting and edited my post to reflect that. Verdandi!Lucifer would be a great idea, and it makes total sense: I just originally thought that you meant "Lucifer was able to make himself look like Verdandi, after all"

Yeah that'll work. Lucifer can always out himself when he meets Karz again or some shit if you want a "OH SHIT" moment.

I've been thinking about this idea, and I actually love it. Luci posing as some moe bespectacled scholar with a fascination with magical biology, and Karzar'ill's case just so happens to be within his realm of study. Because he needs to know all the details in order to reverse the curse, he has to ask Karzar'ill lots of origin questions and Karzar'ill has to answer. Karzar'ill probably thinks that Luci has a schoolboy crush on him, the way Luci's hanging all over him, and that's awfully validating, so he warms up more and more to Lucifer and starts doling out more of his backstory.

After he's collected enough information, Luci stages a horrible bloody death for himself and leaves karzar'ill scarred for life
