@Lorelei: Thanks for posting your forms! Could you possibly provide personality sections for each? (especially for Storm, though, since we don't know her yet)

Also make sure that in the beginning of the roleplay ("real world") your characters are significantly weaker than their magi-verse selves. Like maybe Storm can curse someone with their own tiny personal raincloud for an hour but she can't make it rain over the entire city. She can do some "pull my finger" shock pranks but cant kill anyone with lightning. Then, when they get to the dreamlands, they can "regain" the level of power the old magi had after some training.
