Re: Neko's Awesome OoC

Post by Padfootsmistress777 »

:derp: I left my phone at home and my biggest problem is my campus seems to think clocks an unnecessary feature. I actually do own a watch, but I rarely wear (though oddly enough I considered wearing it today, so thanks brain, appreciate you being stupid and not forcing me to wear the watch), luckily we have computers! Though that doesn't help me when I plan on getting lunch... I'll actually have to *gasp* ask someone for the time  .

I don't think I've ever been in IKEA...my parents took my brother couch shopping (Bob's, I hate those freaking ads but my couch is sooooo comfy), I don't get to go couch shopping ;A;... And I like meatballs :d... Actually, weird meatball story. My campus has a little pizza place thing (the pizza is one person samples made on like flat round bread (almost like a tortilla but maybe a little thicker?) anyway, I got a meatball parmigiano hero, and it was really good...but I was expecting Italian meatballs and was really weirded out by the fact that they were Swedish meatballs... It was good, but not at all what I was expecting .___.

(That is the best answer ever for someone wanting to be Zeus... like seriously. I actually know the site though x3. I was using it obsessively when trying to work on the forms for Marth's RP xD but I need to book mark it and really read through it *nods*.

I never watched House of Mouse... In the early-mid 2000's I was really into X-Men Evolution, Code Lyoko (which I feel cheated on because I never finished that series *rages* I will finish it I swear it <_<), Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, Mystery Hunters, various other Discovery Kids shows... Uhm... I watched a lot of Nick cartoons, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, definitely AtLA (I just rewatched the entire series, plus Legend of Korra like...two months ago? I mean I just binge watched them like a season a day almost x3). But I didn't have any friends in middle school so I never talked about shows I watched, all of that changed when the Fire Nation attacked I hit high school (yey friends who like the things I like!) but... I really didn't watch well known shows. I watched a lot of Discovery Kids (CURSE YOU THE HUB *rages*), a lot of Animal Planet (particularly Animal Cops, Jeff Corwin, and Steve Irwin *RIP*) and of course Shark Week, back when it was actually about educating people on sharks and not sending an entirely new generation of people into mass shark hysteria with your "Shark Attack 3 The Shark Attack's Revenge" or whatever... I like learning about the ampullae of Lorenzini, if I want to watch Jaws, I'll watch Jaws. When I want to learn I watch Discovery Channel, why does Discovery not get this? I didn't even watch SW this year because it was all about shark attacks. Uhm wow, so much rambling....

But yeah, mostly X-Men Evo, Code Lyoko, AtLA (which was a bit later I think), Strange Days at Blake Holsey High... I know I watched some Tutenstein, some Kenny the Shark, and a few episodes of Growin up Creepy (which I always found very difficult to find, to actually watch them). Mystery Hunters... Oh! Truth or Scare with Michelle Tractinburg, that was a good show too... Those are mostly the shows I remember watching in the early-mid 2000's, a lot of Discovery Kids with some Cartoon Network thrown in (I watched Codename Kids Next Door, I remember watching some Camp Lazlo but not a lot, lots of Ed, Edd, and Eddy though, I have my very own Canadian squirt gun y'know ;) ). Elementary School was a lot of Recess, and Rugrats oh!!! Also The Proud Family, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven (LM and TSR moreso than The Proud Family) (not Cory in the House so much, though I did watch some of it), Kim Possible of course... The Weekenders. I think I watched some Pepper Ann but I don't remember much about it...

Ok I watched a lot of different shows when I was younger x3.

Anyway~!! Yeah, Nice Helena Boham-Carter is infinitesimally scarier than mean HBC. I haven't actually seen the Cinderella movie yet, but I'm like 99% sure she reveals herself to be Maleficient at the end (not seriously, but it would be the only thing to make sense x3).

And he's not, he's so not x3. I agree with Neko though, I like our anthropomorphized scarf :yarly:.

Homework is super important and you should totally do it and not procrastinate like I do because I'm awful *said really really fast*. I think you explained the love thing well enough, I wouldn't know what else to call it though, it seems to be the most fitting word. Relationship is much too broad, I think you explain it well enough in the OP *shrugs*.

Gold Cap, stop freaking me out, I feel like I'm cheating! D:

Aww man, I hate when I leave my phone home for that exact same reason. Image I can't even wear a watch either, since I'm allergic to metal and my skin is too sensitive for rubbery plastic (I can't even wear sandals cause the plastic straps always make me blister).

I went there once with my aunt, they had a bunch of false rooms set up. Someone pointed out the other day if you wanted to film a scene in a bedroom, you could go to IKEA. Having had Swedish meatballs, I can imagine why that would have been odd. They taste great, but they're definitely not the meat I'd expect on a pizza, or something pizza-ish.

Ah man, you should see my notebooks. X3 I've been slowly wading through that entire site researching each and every god one by one. I tend to skim over anything made around A.D. times though, since I feel like those tend to have more biblical influences.

I recently started trying to "re-watch" Code Lyoko. XD Also, KND, yes! I love that show so much, it was one of the first shows I tracked down once my family got internet. I was also a huge Hilary Duff fan in my youth, so I had a lot of her CDs and the Lizzie McGuire movie. Also, American Dragon Jake Long. God, there are just so many good shows of the past that I wish were still around. :<

Oh yes, and poor sharks. :< One of the sad facts I found out is that certain species of sharks don't reach sexual maturity until anywhere between 10 to 15 years (great white sharks are somewhere around 30 years). So chances are, the majority of sharks killed are probably still adolescents.

I haven't seen the movie either, but if that would definitely be the most interesting ending they could have.

Aww man, I could just imagine Aoi using his scarf as wings to fly away and it is the most wonderful thing. xD

Too late Paddie, I have joined the procrastinating side. >.> Buuuuut, I did manage to post the remake. ^_^ Here's the new rp thread. I didn't add your guys characters yet since you both mentioned wanting to change around things with your characters, so have at it all you want guys. ^_^

I love this new gold cap! I hope it gets even bigger! :woo:

What about a leather watch? Or velcro? Ah but then again the clock itself is probably made of some kind of plastic or metal and Iit would still probably touch your skin, though I assume not as much...? That sucks though .n. I like watches but I never got in the habit of wearing them so I have to actively tell myself to, which I don't do very often x3.

That sounds like so much fun too o.o. To IKEA! And yeah, it was really weird x3. Not bad but weird x3.

And that is hilarious x3.

I am definitely rewatching Code Lyoko...once I get through Degrassi (three seasons left!) X3.oh!!! I loved American Dragon Jake Long, Dante Basco must have a thing for fire and/or dragons, x3. But I know .n. oh! All That, Keenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show for early 2000s/late 90s, and of course Drake and Josh *nodnod*. I remember liking Hillary Duff's s songs, but I never owned any of her stuff. Hmm...

I actually didn't know that ;-; ohgosh baby sharks.

Yeah, absolutely (I mean it's hard to surprise someone watching Cinderella, Iike the movie but y'know what's going to happen x3). And it's not someone doing one of those gritty reboots, like Snow White and the Huntsman or that Hansel and Gretel movie, it's. ..Disney doing a live action version of the same movie x3.. and I like Cinderella in the original, I don't want Disney to ruin her x3.

Baby-bat scarf Aoi x3 yes!

And yey!! Shiny new virgin thread! :wee: Super exciting. I will work on my characters asap (though only Alice is left to rework honestly...oh and Dante I forgot about him somehow *hugs little fishy*).

Supposedly, I might only be allergic to certain metals, but I don't have the means to go through and find out exactly which ones. I know for a fact that I'm allergic to coins though, or at least US ones. Also zippers (luckily I'm not dangerously allergic or anything, as it takes a few hours of direct contact before my skin starts to react). Although, I've gone through the vast majority of my life never wearing watches or jewelry that it actually feels weird when I do. :derp:

It does! But I'd also be worried of getting kicked out. >.< Swedish meatballs with a gravy-like sauce taste great though (and I don't even like gravy). :t-:3:

Oh god, I remember all those too! X3 Also, Phil of the Future. It's upsetting that they didn't get to give that show a proper ending.

Really big baby sharks, the poor things. T_T

You know what, I never really thought about it but since they're redoing all the famous old Disney movies in live action, does that mean they might do Lion King and Mulan? Cause if so, I'm not sure how I feel about that. Image

Gosh that just seems so adorable! X3

Yes, it's so shinnnnnyyy~ Now I just hope it can draw in some attention. *laughs nervously*

I react to fake earrings and necklaces (not sure about bracelets or rings, though I assume I would). I can wear them for a little while but then I get itchy... But that's...kind of crazy :derp: I actually probably would have an allergic reaction to coin metal if it were melted down into some kind of piece of jewelry... But at least it's not too bad ;A;. (Though it also sounds kind of funny "yeah, I'm allergic to zippers..." weird statement x3).

I'd ask permission first, I'm not a maniac! I haven't had Swedish meatballs with gravy in awhile :L I remember liking them but right now my stomach's all "nooooo" at the thought-so weird.

I didn't watch Phil of the Future much, oddly. I don't know why x3.

Poor baby sharks ;A;.

I don't think Mulan would be too bad, I'd probably watch it just because why not? But Lion King would be hard, if not impossible. Unless they went completely CGI (Which is a bazillion times worse .__. ). I haven't caught up with it yet, but the only live action Disney movies I need is OUaT (I'm still half a season behind x3 ugh that Frozen arc really killed me, haven't quite recovered from it yet, it was so annoying x3).

Doesn't it though?!

And yes shiiinnnnyyyy... Blatantly advertise it in all the places :yarly:

Same here, I practically never wear jewelry because of it. Yeah, the zipper thing  I only found out because of a new jacket with a really high collar that zipped all the way up. I wore it everyday when I first got it, so naturally a rash developed around my neck. It took me a while to realize why though, despite the fact that I've known since I was little about my allergy. It does suck if my bra hook gets twisted or the wire starts poking out though, as I'm sure you can imagine. >.<

Paddie's not a maniac?? Dang, but I thought for sure. Ha, my stomach gets that way sometimes too. Sometimes I just have to be in the mood for certain foods...

I definitely suggest it, but I cannot vouch for if my childhood memory is viewing it through a golden lens.

I'd just be worried they wouldn't be able to give Mulan justice. As to Lion King, I have to agree that it would be downright impossible without going nearly full CGI, which would probably not go over well. Paddie you definitely need to catch up though, the new season is starting and Emma and Hook have quite the hill they're going to have to climb over Image

I just watched Hotel Transylvania for the first time and now bat scarf Aoi seems even better x3

Ugh, I'm so bad at that though, it always feels like I'm pressuring people. >.<

Bra wires poking through sucks without an allergy too, I'm very well aware :derp:. Though I imagine it is much worse with an allergy... And the jacket is probably super cool but there is no way I could wear a collar all the way up like that. I could be wearing a regular tee-shirt and feel claustrophobic sometimes :derp: .

And sorry to disappoint owo. Yeah, I'm like that a lot, it's annoying too .-. .

I think Mulan wouldn't be too hard to do...if they kept to the same script, or followed the original story completely... But changing it in any other way is no good... Speak of the devil Peter Pan LA movie commercial. The only Hook worth watching is Killian D: And I know, it's on Netflix but my mother refuses to watch it on the computer and I can't not watch it without her ;A;.

I just watched it for the first time too, ohgosh it was adorable <3. Baby Mavis and Dracula ohgosh so cute ;A;. And little Winnie was so adorable too x3.

*patpat* It's ok.

Oh gosh, the jacket is super cool. :yarly: It's basically a trench coat to be honest, nothing extreme. I'm fairly certain the high zipper was just for show, since it's pretty much impossible to wear fully zipped up. I know exactly how you feel though, some days I have to avoid even the baggiest of t-shirts just because having a collar makes me feel like I'm choking. :derp:

Having a moment of picky stomach-ness is particularly terrible when there's nothing close by that appeals to the appetite. :derp:

You might not even need the help anymore, but do you have an HDTV and an HDMI cord? :orly: If so, you could hook up your computer to the TV, then you and your mom would be able to watch OUaT. If not though, perhaps your cable company (if you have cable) offers episodes for free?

Yes, agreed. <3 I read somewhere that if Hotel Transylvanian did well, that they might do a Samurai Jack movie?

I like trench coats owo. But yeah, I definitely know the feeling .-.

I actually finally watched the rest of season four, my mother's almost done with it. So hopefully we'll be able to catch up with season five soon enough!
Spoiler
Holy cow, I loooooved the season four finale, it was absolutely perfect (and I loved the Author being the villain, that was great! Though I totally knew Henry would end up being the next Author, I'm surprised I didn't see it sooner, but as it started coming to me, and then finally when it's revealed I'm like "yeah, makes sense" x3.). I'm also really, really glad that Regina didn't succumb to any dark tendencies. I mean there were a few times where I was sure she might slip a little (not irreparably so, but definitely slip) but each time I thought she might she didn't. I thought she was awful as a villain but she's a great hero (anti-hero? :orly: ) She still does things a bit more darkly than Snow would be expected to, and she definitely doesn't have issues threatening people or being mean, but she's so much better as a good guy and I'm so glad she's not flip-flopping the way Rumple does. I was so glad for that <3 (And I love how Henry calls both her and Emma mom, it's just the sweetest thing ever x3.)

But yeah, amazing season finale...especially since the first half of season four was so slow in my opinion <3).
I...can't remember the last time I watched Samurai Jack... I'll add that to the list of cartoons I need to (re)watch. I'm currently watching Adventure Time (seasons five owo).
