Rafe nodded before hearing the rest of what Roan said afterward. "Okay and maybe we can also go on a few dates around that time as well. I'm sure Alex and Hikaru would love to babysit Kai for us again at that time and I'll be more alert for those hunters," he said in reply before squeezing the former's hand a bit in reassurance. The hand squeezing was mostly for the frown that he had seen on his love's face earlier.

"It's near where Rafe and Roan's apartment is so not very far from where we currently are," Alex said in reply to Hikaru's question while looking back at the road. He had briefly looked over at the former when he noticed him looking at the ultrasound picture of their babies which made him smile a bit. "If you feel sleepy, you can take a nap and I won't have any problem waking you up when we get there." He said this last statement in reply to what his love had said earlier regarding him waking him up if it took long to get to their destination.

"When that time comes around, Hikaru and Alex may have their own little baby to look after," Roan said with a small yet sad laugh. Even with Rafe squeezing his hand, he still felt sadness and guilt that their own baby was missing, especially when talking about other people's babies. "I miss him so much, Rafe... I've never been away from him for so long, and I just don't know what to do in a situation like this." Roan stopped in his tracks in the hallway, eyes filling up to the brim with tears. "I feel like such a bad parent, Rafe."

"I think that I'm going to go to sleep then," Hikaru muttered with a yawn, leaning over and quickly pressing a kiss to Alex's cheek before snuggling back into the seat of the car. He slipped his shoes off and then pulled his feet up as he started to get comfortable. Hikaru's blue eyes fluttered shut, and it wasn't too long before he was fast asleep.

"I'm sure my mom would love to babysit him then if Alex and Hikaru are busy with their own baby," Rafe said in reply to what Roan said in his first statement before hearing the rest of what he said. He then moved towards him when he saw the tears in his eyes and worldlessly held him in order to help comfort him. "You're not a bad parent Roan. This type of thing can happen to anyone," he said in his love's hair before kissing him softly on the forehead.

"Okay," Alex said in reply before looking over at Hikaru briefly to see him fall asleep while getting very comfortable in his seat. He smiled a bit at the site before turning his full attention back on the road. Awhile later or so he pulled into the parking lot of the hospital and parked the car in one of the spots there. After he put it in park and turned it off, he looked over at the still sleeping Hikaru and shook him gently with a hand on his arm. "Love we're here," he said softly and with a smile on his face.

"I don't even remember meeting your mother, Rafe, and even if I have, that was a long time ago," Roan said, not wanting to admit that after this whole situation, he was reluctant on taking Kai anywhere without at least Rafe, Hikaru, Alex, or himself. Maybe he could work something out with Hikaru. As soon as Rafe held him in his arms, Roan clung tightly to his boyfriend, bawling his eyes out into Rafe's chest. "But all this bad stuff happens to US Rafe! As soon as one bad thing is resolved, one more returns right in its place. I'm starting to feel like I'm bad luck or something..."

Hikaru stirred when Alex shook him, not wanting to wake up quite yet. "Just five more minutes..." he mumbled tiredly before shooting up when he remembered where they were at. He was so excited to tell Roan the news that he almost got out of the car without the ultrasound that he was wanting to show Rafe and Roan, grabbing it at the last second before getting out of the car. Hikaru bounced excitedly on his heels, going over to the other side of the car as he waited for Alex. "I'm so excited! I can barely wait to show them!"

"I don't think you have yet. She was going to come visit for Thanksgiving and that was going to be you guys' first meeting," Rafe said in reply to Roan's first statement before hearing the rest of what he said while he held him close and as the former was crying in his chest. "I feel like I'm bad luck as well so you're not the only one and it will work out; I promise you," he said in reply to them before kissing his hair softly.

Alex just smiled when he heard what Hikaru mumbled before letting out a small chuckle as he watched him jolt awake and then practically rush out of the car afterward. He took the keys out of the ignition before opening his door and getting out before locking the car with the fob while hearing the other two statements that the former said excitedly. "Me neither and I bet they'll be just as excited as us," he said in reply before taking one of his love's hands in one of his own and starting to lead him towards the entrance of the hospital.

"She did?" Roan asked with a raised eyebrow. He wondered if it was a last minute thing or just something that he had forgotten about later. He wasn't crying for much longer at all, especially with how sweet and comforting Rafe was being. "Thanks, Rafe," he said softly, drying his red, wet eyes with the skin of his arm. "You really know how to calm me down."

Hikaru happily trailed right behind Alex as they walked towards the hospital, wanting to skip there happy, but he knew that wouldn't be a good idea in case he feel. He couldn't hurt his babies like that even if it was an accident. It wasn't long before they got there and the door opened up for them. "Did Rafe tell you what floor that they are on?" he asked Alex, pulling out his own cellphone to check if Roan had sent him the room number earlier or not just in case. "I think he would be in the wing of the hospital for heart problems, you know?"

"Mhm and you're welcome. I've had a lot of practice," Rafe said in reply to both Roan's question and statements with a smile on his face and another kiss but on the cheek this time while they continued to walk in the hallway to give the former some exercise. "I'll get Kai back so that we can be happy again," he added a bit later as he looked around at the walls in the hallway.

"No he didn't and that's a good guess," Alex said in reply to both of the questions that Hikaru asked with a smile before going to the elevator and pressing the up button. When the elevator arrived, he led the former into it and then pressing the button to the heart problems floor. When they arrived there a short while later, he started to look around to see if he could spot their friends.

"Oh? You have?" Roan asked with a raised eyebrow as if challenging Rafe's statement. They were best friends for years while they were on the run, so of course Rafe already knew almost everything about Roan before they even started dating. "I miss our sweet, little baby so much. He means the world to me, Rafe," he whispered in a soft voice when he heard Rafe mention Kai again, a frown forming on his face once more.

Hikaru followed Alex into the elevator, firmly squeezing his boyfriend's hand as the elevator ascended to a higher floor. When the door opened, he began to look around the floor of the hospital as well, searching for any signs that could lead them to the room. It was when he heard familiar voices that he began to try to pull Alex towards the origin on the voices. "Roan! Rafe!" he called out with a bright smile on his face.

"Yes. Remember the little spats we had before you got pregnant with Kai? I've tried to be more comforting when you seem to be down and try not to say a lot of stupid things that make you want to argue. I do, too but it'll all be okay soon," Rafe said in reply to the question as well as Roan's last statement before he saw Hikaru waving at them with Alex beside him from the other end of the hallway. "Hikaru an Alex are here to visit." After he saw that, he increased his pace slightly with Roanto meet them half-way.

Alex watched as Hikaru call Roan and Rafe before waving himself and seeing that the latter saw that they were heading his and Roan's way. He walked a little faster beside the former when he noticed that Rafe's pace had increased before saying to him with the smile still on his face when they had met up with them, "Hikaru has some good news about us that he'd like to share with you guys."

"Yeah, I know we've had our fights, but as long as we've been friends, they were bound to happen every now and then," Roan answered, looking up at Rafe momentarily as he looked into Rafe's blue eyes. It wasn't too much later that he heard his best friend's calls, looking over at Hikaru and giving him a smile. He wasn't too happy when Rafe increased his pace, letting go of Rafe's hand so that he would be able to walk at a comfortable pace for both his breathing and his heart rate.

"I'm not the only one who wants to tell them," Hikaru said with a grin before giving Alex a little light but playful shove. It wasn't long before he was nestled against Alex's side though. "So... we were just wanting to let you guys know that we're having twins!" he said enthusiastically. He rested a hand against his stomach, rubbing it loveingly.

"Congrats you guys." Roan said, just giving Alex and Hikaru a weak smile. He let out a breath before pressing the sides of his forehead as dizziness started to come over him. "Can we go back to my room?" he asked.
