Star walked into the park, feeling increasingly worried. But then she saw, leaning against a tree, Alex. Was he looking for her? But he looked awful. "Are you okay? You look horrible," she said, walking over to him.

"Yeah thanks," Alex sighed sarcastically. "I love looking horrible." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm... fine... but what about you? You've been avoiding me. Are you okay?"

Star suddenly remembered her bruises. She mentally scolded herself for being so stupid. "Uh... Well..." She couldn't think of anything to say.

Alex sighed a little bit. "You... don't want to... tell me?" he asked her. He felt a little untrusted, and he sighed again. "That's okay..." He just wanted to go back in his manor and go somewhere dark and cool. "I won't ask if you don't want me to. But... I hate to ask this... can you help me back?"

To be honest, the only reason she didn't want to tell him was because she didn't want him to worry. Biting her lip, she nodded. "Yeah." She was a bit worried about him. Usually he wasn't that bad in the sun... Was he getting worse from continual exposure?

Alex chuckled quietly. "Thanks," he sighed, getting out from the shade. He felt like he was going to faint right there, but he continued walking and trying to get back to the manor.

Star bit her lip, walking alongside Alex. She wondered if he was going to die, or faint, and she didn't fancy the idea of dragging him back to his mansion. He really looked bad, and she was worried about him.

Alex sighed heavily and kept walking. He could see the major coming closer, and he was impatient to get to it. His steps became a litter harder to take but he tried to hide it.

Star felt a bit nervous, as it was in pure daylight and she was wearing a short sleeved shirt. But Alex was more important than her stupid problems, so she was more worried about him.

Alex threw his door open and collapsed on the couch, trying not to think about the pain in his head. "Hey..." he started, noticing her bruises but not asking. "Are you going to school tomorrow?"
