Kanaye loaded the twin's school things into the car and waited for the kids to buckle up before starting the car and driving out of their garage. He let out an irritated sigh when it turned out that they had been caught in the early morning traffic jam.

"Tou-san, are you fetching us from school today?" Hinata asked. Kanaye looked at her through the rear view mirror. "I don't have a meeting later but I'll see. But if Mika-nee-chan is the one fetching you, you two have to behave, okay?" he told them. The two nodded and began a game of 'I spy' to pass time.

"Suzuki-sama the car is ready" the chauffeur spoke as he held open the limo`s door bowing.
Yuri gave a curt nod and went inside and then with that they began their drive to town at a new building where he would attend a business meeting.
Ah yes after years of power struggle within the family it was the youngest of the triplets to run the family business as the head. After years of hard work and showing his grandparents he was more capable then all of his sisters he had gotten his position with their approval.
His deep black hair was cut neatly and his hair slicked back. The dyed color of his hair made his pink eyes appear darker, almost an eerie shade of red. His built had improved since his younger years and now appeared more masculine especially in his neat and pressed black suit. He now resembled his father in many ways or at least that was what he had liked to think.

Yuri was thrown forward off his car seat, knocked to the floor of the limo when the limo came to an abrupt halt. The man cursed and glared at the driver demanding why he had done so. But then Yuri saw the one thing in his life he had wanted more than anything or anyone else.
She was with a blonde looking surprised at the limo seemingly to look directly at Yuri with her round chocolate brown eyes but of course she couldn`t actually see him, since the car`s glass was tinted rendering him invisible to the outside.
Saeko quickly bowed before being dragged away by her companion to the safety of the other side of the road.
Yuri was slumped on the car floor not hearing the chauffeur`s incessant stream of apologies-staring at where the brunette had been moments ago.

After being caught in traffic for a good 15 minutes and a loooooooooooong time of withstanding the twin's contest on 'Who Could Annoy Otou-san First By Repeatedly Asking Are We There Yet?', the small family finally made it to school where the twins got off and ran to their classrooms after waving goodbye to their uncle.

Thankfully enough, the school his father had chosen to send the twins to was near to their business so he did not have that much of a problem with arriving to work late. He parked the car and made his way up where Mika and Misaki greeted him. "Why aren't you at daycare, Misa-chan?" he asked the toddler. Misaki looked up at him and sniffled "Misa sick." she pouted.

"I hope its alright that I brought her here. No one could stay with her today and I can't take a day off so that we could have a long weekend on Misaki's birthday." Mika told him. Kanaye nodded his head in understanding.

"Its alright with me but you know father." he told her. He placed a hand on Misaki's forehead. It was rather warm. "Why don't you take the day off, Mika-san?" he told her. Mika looked ready to refuse but he held a hand up to stop her. "Consider it a reward for always helping out. I'll tell them to let you have the weekend off for Misaki's birthday as long as I can leave the twins with you." he told her. Mika smiled "I'm sure Misa-chan would love the company. Thank you Kanaye-san. Now come on, sick little missy. You need to get better before your birthday comes along."

"Saeko you really should pay attention where you`re walking" Haku scolded, still holding the brunette`s hand.
"Sorry its not my fault the light decided to change when i was crossing" Saeko pouted when they suddenly heard the sound of a school bell nearby.
The brunette turned her head towards the school and stared as parents dropped off their children, some of them crying and clinging to their mothers or fathers while most immediately went running in towards their friends.
Haku looked at the brunette only to catch her staring.
Saeko gave a small squeak when her hair was suddenly ruffled, the blonde grinning at her. "Hey you`d like pancakes for breakfast with your brothers` right?"
"Since when do i turn down free pancakes?" she scoffed offering him a grin in return.
Haku chuckled squeezing her hand and was surprised when the brunette gave a small squeeze in return. The blonde couldn`t help but wonder what was going on in the girl`s head moments ago, not liking that forlorn look in her eyes when she stared at the school.

Kanaye looked at the picture on his desk of him and the twins back when they were just left in his care. "Hazuki-nee..." he muttered as he picked up the frame. A knock sounded on his door and he put down the frame before calling out 'Come in.'

Shuichi stepped through the door with a half-asleep Misaki in his arms. He still looked more or less the same as back in high school, give or take a bit more bulk from his soccer games and his hair now more tame now that it was shorter. "Mika told me of what you said to her earlier. Thanks, frere." he said to the other male. Kanaye nodded. "Its fine. That's what friends are for, right?" he told him.

"You want to come over for the weekend? I'm sure Misaki would love to have the twins over and its been forever since all of us hung out together. My siblings are coming too so we can live the kids with them." Shuichi offered.

Saeko flopped on her bed tired with only just breakfast. She thought her brothers wanted to talk not interrogate her! Who knows what they would have done if they knew she bumped into am old classmate just yesterday?
The brunette sighed curling in her futon. Haku was off making his storyboard for his manga so who knows how long that`ll take...
The brunette reluctantly pushed herself off her futon and went to her dresser. She scrounged through her clothes and finally found what she was looking.
It was an old book with the leather binding tearing at the sides from old age. She ran her fingers over the musty old book sighing.
It was an early copy of the school`s yearbook Yuki had snatched for her. She opened the pages smiling at the pictures of the few students she knew finding she missed them even Kie and even more surprisingly Aiko.
Guilt and an old pang of pain coursed through the brunette when she stopped at a picture that held the red haired kitsune in the judo club 'Gomenasai'
After a few minutes Saeko forced herself to tear away from the picture and turned to the next page.
She stopped at the page that displayed the student council members feeling her chest tighten when she saw familiar silver orbs. 'I can`t believe i almost forgot what you looked like....'

Looking at the clock, Kanaye saw that it was already 3 in the afternoon. The twins were most likely being released in a moment. Grabbing his things, he shut off his lights and locked the door.

He drove over to the twin's school and parked the car in its modest parking lot. He entered the now familiar gates and looked around for his charges. One of the teachers saw him and practically bounced over. "Yamamoto-san. Its nice to see you." she said with a wide grin. Kanaye nodded to her in greeting.

"Have you seen Hibiki and Hinata?" he asked her, still looking for the two. The teacher seemed put off that he was more interested in the twins than herself so she motioned to the school. "They're in the classroom." she told him. Kanaye nodded and bowed slightly before going in.

"Its such a pity he's stuck raising those two by himself..." the teacher muttered to herself before getting distracted by a small group of children using her as a human wall for their game of tag.

Saeko put the yearbook away before abruptly standing up. There was no way she was going to let her thoughts drag her down again. The brunette was beginning to miss her blonde mangaka already since he always made it a point to distract her from such things.
'Well then i`ll just have to distract myself'
The brunette put on her coat that she had discarded on the floor and went out of her apartment.

Kanaye turned towards the door labelled '1-1' where the twins were supposed to be staying. The door was slightly ajar and he could see Hibiki packing away art materials while Hinata erased writings on the board. Several other children were also cleaning up. 'Oh yea, its their cleaning day.' he remembered.

After depositing the last of his load, Hibiki turned to the door. "Tou-san!" he said happily. The attending teacher bowed to Kanaye in greeting. Kanaye bowed back.

"Are you two done here?" he asked Hibiki. The mini version of Kanaye looked at his sister who gave him a thumbs up before going to wash her hands free of dust. "Hai!" he responded.

When Hinata came back, she tugged oh Kanaye's jacket. "Tou-san, can we go to the park?" she asked him with wide eyes. Checking his watch, Kanaye saw that there was still a bit of free time so he nodded.

Saeko had her earphones on and was listening to the song De ja Vu by 303h finding odd irony in the song. The brunette wondered what had possessed her to go to the park.
In retrospect it was the most peaceful place in town but Saeko couldn`t help but remember what the parks in America were like at night in comparison to the day.
In the morning a haven for kids and old couples feeding ducks at the pond but at night was filled with prostitutes or muggers wandering around along with strange rustlings in the bushes from a source the brunette did not want to find out.
She vaguely wondered if parks in Japan were anything like that at night too.
