''magic?.. well, i shouldn't really sound so surprised..'' he muttered to himself and he looked at Rin ''uhm.. but, won't your folks worry about you?.. and is this permanent?'' Jessie asked and he took a deep breath; a little shocked but secretly overjoyed. now he wouldn't have to sneak out to see Rin anymore. ''you seem tired.. do you want to go to sleep? you can share my room i guess''

Rin blinked in surprise.
"I didn't even think about my parents..." He murmured, looking down with a faintly miserable expression on his face. "They will worry. And it's... it's not permanant, no." He didn't want to tell Jessie about the other condition, not yet. "Thank you." He said quietly in response to the offer of sharing Jessie's room.

''okay.. at least it isn't permanent, whenever you change back you can just go home and tell them you're okay?" he asked, trying to cheer Rin up a little before he hugged him. ''im sure it'll be okay.. it's a pleasant surprise you came you know, but, lets go to bed.. ill help you up the stairs''

Rin hugged Jessie back with a smile, nuzzling his shoulder and, seemingly, refusing to let go of him.
"You'll probably have to help me to the stairs, not just up them." He said with a sheepish smile. "I can't really walk. At all."

''uh.. well, lets start learning.. i hold onto you, and you just focus on putting one foot in front of the other okay?" Jessie suggested and he started to get up, wrapping an arm around Rin's waist to help him stand

"Okay..." Rin said slightly nervously, although having Jessie's arms around his waist to help him made him feel slightly better about trying to walk again. He tried to stand up along with Jessie, although he was slightly shaky on his feet even with the other boy helping him.

Jessie smiled reassuringly and he nodded ''okay.. good, now, can you move one foot forward?'' he asked, showing Rin by taking a small step

"I know the theory." Rin huffed slightly when Jessie demonstrated. "I just can't really do it very well." He succeeded in putting one foot in front of the other; it was balance that he had issues with.

''sorry.. i just don't know what it's like not knowing how to walk'' Jessie chuckled sheepishly as he slowly helped Rin walk towards the stairs. ''we have to keep quiet okay..? my folks will probably have heart attacks if they see you''

"I'll be quiet." Rin promised, dropping his voice to a whisper. He was leaning pretty heavily on Jessie as they walked towards the stairs.
