Vosayra felt a small tension in Koralov and removed her hand from his hair, dropping back against the sand and pulling back from the kiss, breathing a little hard and chewing her lower lip a little. "Um...I'm sorry, I..." She felt like she couldn't quite speak around some lump in her throat. Had she done something wrong? Had she made him uncomfortable?

"No- no..." He said, hating to see her so uneasy. "You're fine. I'm just... not used to this- I've never..." He tried to say what he was thinking, but somehow the connection between his mind and mouth had all but disappeared. He had never really had a real relation with a woman before- he had never felt this intense fluttering that made him so nervous. He wanted her to be happy- and he hated seeing her uneasy like this. He adjusted himself so he could balance on his legs and one arm, bringing his spare arm up to cup her cheek gently. He had never felt so terrified... not even when that Tasharn had attacked him, or even when he had blown up an intensely unstable elixir and nearly toppled over his tower. His heart beat wildly in his chest as he searched her face, trying to explain that it was okay- she was fine, and he was glad she felt this way. He just didn't know how to react to it very well. He didn't know what to expect.

Vosayra looked back up at him, putting her hand tentatively over his as he cupped her cheek. His skin felt so cool, so good, and she felt like her heart was going to absolutely explode. "I...I haven't, either," she murmured, looking up at him, trying to read his expression... She moved up to kiss him again, a little more surely this time, more firmly, more warmly before pulling back. "But I'm...I'm not going...don't be nervous." She smiled a little shyly. "I'm not running if you're not."

He kissed her back, leaning into the kiss a bit more, feeling more comfortable now that he knew what he was doing was okay.
"I'm not going to run." He said in a breathy sigh of relief, the glow around his amulet growing brighter. He leaned down to kiss her cheek gently, his purple eyes drooping slightly with warm happiness. He was still so shy- he still hoped he was doing the right thing, and that he wouldn't offend her or anything by making the wrong move.

Vosayra gave a low sigh as a tension left her shoulders, smiling softly as he kissed her cheek so gently it made her heart swell. She cupped his cheek again and pulled him down for another kiss, closing her eyes (that was what you were supposed to do when you kissed someone, right?) and just feeling this, feeling him, surprised by how...right this felt... She felt so comfortable and yet on high alert, at once anxious beyond all belief and more comfortable and perfect than she'd ever been.

Koralov sighed and relaxed further, leaning into the kiss and closing his eyes as well, running his thumb along her cheekbone and across her rubber-like skin. "My русалка." He said softly against her lips.

Vosayra shivered, pressing closer against Koralov as he murmured a word she recognized as Alasrian but couldn't remember or didn't know, the language she'd heard so much as a child making her remember the cold snow, the mountains, the place she'd lived for so long...while her skin seemed to light on fire. She gently moved her hand to cup around his neck, running her fingertips through his hair gently, trying not accidentally hurt him with her claws.

Koralov couldn't help a low noise of joy escaping him as she shivered against him, wrapping her hand around his neck so he could feel her fingers in his long black hair. He kissed her again, gently, filled with his emotion for her before moving away again and setting his forehead against hers, trying to catch his breath as his mind began to spin. "This... this isn't going too fast, is it?" He asked huskily, opening his eyes to look down into hers, his vision filled with her face.

Vosayra had to blink a few times, looking up at Koralov with a doofy grin on her face that she couldn't seem to stop, feeling at once like she was made of air and fire. "Watch the horns," she warned with a wry chuckle, running her fingers carefully through his hair again. "And...I mean..." She gave a smile and shrugged. "I've never, ever wanted to kiss someone before, never just...instantly, like...like I kinda did when we started talking." She grinned and lightly bumped her fist again against his shoulder. "Unless you've put some spell on me, sorcerer, this pace is fine with me." She kissed him softly again, reassuringly.

Koralov looked at the horns on either side of his forehead, smiling as they stuck into his hair harmlessly. "I'll be careful." He said warmly. "I promise I haven't cast a single spell since we came onto shore. I... just have a hard time comprehending how... deep this emotion is." He said, letting out a deep sigh and kissed her again. "It's wonderful." He said softly. He hadn't felt like this before, not this bone deep need to make her happy, or the constant desire to touch her in some way. Even the smallest touch would satisfy him- and the idea that it had happened so quickly was a bit scary.
