Ezio slung the bags in one hand over his shoulder, the bags hanging by their handles on his fingers. "Nice try but I tried worse." he shot back with a smirk. He turned the corner and entered the apartment's lobby. Instantly the large black and white husky ran over and jumped on Ezio, putting his front paws on the man's shirt. Ezio ruffled the dog's fur and turned to the attendant. "We're going! Thanks!" he called out before taking hold of the dog's leash. Seeing Ariana nearby, the big dog did the same to her, panting out happily with his tongue lolling out to the side.

Ariana gave a very quiet sigh and continued with him, reaching the hotel lobby. Although she had seen Fang jump up on Ezio, she didn't expect him to jump on her and when he did, she gave a soft yelp in surprise, but smiled a little afterwards. Hesitantly, she slowly reached out and lightly stroked the fur on the back of the dog's head before he jumped back down. After brushing herself down, Ariana turned back to Ezio, "Are we heading back to your place now?"

Ezio nodded. He pulled Fang into the direction of his apartment and the dog seemed to understand, happily padding along beside him. Each time a cat passed by, Ezio would sharply tug on the leash whenever Fang's head turned. The dog would then ignore the cat and continue on. They stopped at a nearby convenience store and Ezio pulled out his wallet, giving her a $100 bill. "Go buy what you need. I'll wait here." he told her, holding out the bill with one hand.

When they reached the convenience store, Ariana raised both of her brows at the amount of money Ezio was giving her, but took it without question. She walked into the shop and walked up and down the small isles slowly, looking for what she would need while living with him. After picking up the basic things - shampoo, conditioner, body wash and more - she walked over to the till and paid for the toiletries, taking the bag in her other hand before walking out back to Ezio and Fang.

Ezio pushed himself off of the wall he had been leaning on and Fang's head rose from its perch on his paws at his master's movement. Seeing Ariana step out of the store, he tugged lightly on the dog's leash and the canine stood up lazily before shaking its fur, as if to wake itself up. Ezio picked up the bags he had put on the floor and waited for her to join them.

Ariana looked around the area they were stood in, seeing if there was a way she could escape. Yes, he had saved her from probably being killed by another dhampir, and he had just bought her a lot, but she didn't want to live with dhampirs. She belonged with the vamprites, they were her clan. When she saw no escape route, Ariana sighed quietly to herself and made her way over to Ezio and Fang. "Is that everything?"

Ezio nodded and turned to the direction of his apartment, Fang padding along beside him. He didn't bother looking back if she was still following him. Escape would be a dangerous option here. The dhampirs weren't a kind clan - not even to their own members. If one caught her, she'd be as good as dead. Allegiances within the clan were not uncommon but genuine ones were few and far in between. Majority of the clan's status was based on power, fear, and blood.

Ariana quietly followed behind Ezio and Fang, going deep into her thoughts as they walked. Would she actually ever get out of there and return to her own clan, or would she be stuck there until she died? Though, it could have been worse: she could have been taken by a different dhampir and slaughtered so that they could feed from her. When they reached his apartment, she looked back up from the ground, sighing under her breath.

Ezio looked at Ariana for a moment before shaking his head and unlocking the door. Fang rushed inside and he followed shortly after, leaving Ariana at the door and depositing the groceries on the counter top beside the door. He unleashed the dog and ruffled his fur while Fang panted happily. Ezio picked up Fang's water bowl and refilled it, placing it back into its place along with a small serving of dog treats.

Ariana walked in after Ezio and closed the door behind her, then placed the bags beside the others on the counter. Brushing some hair from her face, she looked around the living room before crossing her arms over her chest. "May I, uh, take a shower?" She asked him quietly, glancing over at him.
