Henri put his now empty plate on the table and downed the contents of his glass before switching off the tv. Fang hopped up on the couch beside him and panted up at him happily. He rubbed the large dog's belly before standing up and putting his dishes in the sink as well. He bent down to pack away the now empty dog food bowl and hid it in a little cupboard by the door. Fang followed after him but lost interest in his owner as he caught sight of Ariana. He jumped up and placed his front paws on her and barked.

When Ariana felt the dog paws on her and the sudden barking, she jumped slightly and leaned against the kitchen bench. She sighed quietly and looked down at Fang. Slowly, she moved her hand to gently stroke the top of his head, hoping that he would get off her if she did so. "Does he always jump up like that?" Ariana asked quietly.

Ezio regarded her with an amused expression. "Only to people he likes." he told her before addressing the dog. "Fang, down, now." he commanded with a firm tone and Fang obediently removed his paws from the female vampire and sat down on his haunches beside her. "Good boy." he praised with a light pat to the dog's head. "He's trained so its easy enough for you to get used to him and vice versa." he told Ariana.

Ariana gave a small nod to thank him and folded her arms across his chest. "So, he likes me?" She asked with a bit of relief, thankful that Fang wouldn't take a disliking to her. "I hope so," she mumbled quietly in reference to what he said about being able to get used to having him around. She was sure that she would, but now she was a bit nervous around the dog.

"If he didn't like you, he'd be barking at you a lot and using you as a chew toy." Ezio told her with concealed amusement. Fang barked when he sensed Ariana's unease but was silenced by Ezio's silent command for stop- a finger pointed at his face.

Ariana nodded once and began looking around the room once more. "So, where am I sleeping?" She asked as she looked back over at him. She was starting to feel a little bit tired, and some sleep would probably do her some good.

"Didn't I consent to letting you sleep on the bed?" he told her with a raised brow. "I sleep on the right side so you can stay on the left." he told her before going into the bedroom and grabbing some clothes from his drawers. "The closet by the bathroom is empty so you can put your things there." he said before going into the bathroom.

Ariana nodded slowly, she was only asking again to make sure. She then picked up the bags of clothes from the bench and made her way towards the closet near the bathroom. Taking one piece of clothing out at a time, she hung the shirts and trousers up, but folded the rest and situated them at the bottom of the closet. Once she was done with that, she made her way back to the living room, sitting down on the sofa.

Ezio took a relatively long shower which in actuality only lasted no more then 8 minutes. He tugged on his sweats and slung his towel around his neck. He brushed his teeth and towel dried his hair a bit before stepping out and finding Ariana on the couch. "Are you tired?" he asked her as he leaned on the back of the couch behind her. A few drops of water fell from his still damp and rather rumpled hair to the top of her head.

Ariana looked up at Ezio as he walked back through and nodded, pushing herself up from the sofa. "Yeah, are you?" She folded her arms across her chest, a small yawn escaping from her lips. It had been a long day for her, and definitely not the way she would usually spend the night hours.
