Jake smiled, "So he would not care if I did this." he said and then pulled her in and kissed her softly. It felt so right, he felt like this was good. And it did not feel like when he had kissed Celina. It felt REAL. He then pulled away and looked at her.

Lilly's cheeks turned a slight pink as she was kissed. She kissed the boy back softly. She smiled. It had never felt so nice kissing Ben. Never felt so...so...right. "I don't think he would mind at all." she hummed happily. "Unless he magically developed feelings for me." she teased softly.

Jake looked at her then blushed a little, "Okay lets go...." he and laughed a little about her teasing. He then stood up and grabbed her hand. It was still was pouring down rain. Jake then said "Race ya?" he asked and chuckled a little. His face lit up.

"Sure!" Lilly hummed as she let go of Jake's hand, and sprinted towards her dorm, giggling as she ran.(WB)

Jake started running he was a little behind Lilly. As he ran the tears dried on his face just like the ran. His hair flew back and the wind and rain mixed together and half blinded him. But he kept running the only thing he did not want to happen was for one of them to slip. He was haveing the time of his life right now. Ya know he had always wanted to be with Lilly but did not want to ruin their friendship. He was glad he had her, and knew now that if they broke up that their would be no hard feelings. And Jake understood that sometimes two people just don't work out. He was 17 and she 16. A horrible thought struck him. He would leave this school a year before her. What would he do without her??? No wait. He was the Dean now and ran th eschool so he would have to stay! That is if he was not kicked out of the job or dead by then.
He was almost tied with Lilly right now but she was still ahead some. He could see her dorm coming up into sight. He then tried to pick up his spead but could not. He started to then notice how TIRED he was. He had not gotten good sleep in a while and had been working all day. And it was only 3:32 Wow he had had a LONG day. And this was going to be a very late lunch. He had been starving before he had started crying and let's say got "Side tracked"
Jake then wondered what the date was, it was April 23rd right? That meant his birthday was intwo days! What would he do then? He decided not to tell Lilly and just not do anything this year. He did not want to worry her with it... And there was just not enough time for fun things like that anymore. Not for a while.

Lilly ran along, laughing happily as she did. She was soon inside her dorm building and running up the stairs to her dorm on the second floor. She touched the door and yelled, "I win!" with a laugh. She waited for Jake to appear, which only took a matter of seconds, and unlocked the door. She walked inside, quickly scanning to make sure the present she had gotten him was hidden. She smiled to herself when she didn't see the gift. She had remembered her best friends birthday, and sure wasn't going to not get him a present. "You can search through the fridge for anything. I'm going to get changed." she said.
Lilly quickly grabbed some clothes from her closet.
After a few moments, as emerged from her bath room in baggy, navy blue sweat pants, with a hot pink, fleece on. "Find anything?" she asked, hugging herself, taking in the warmth. of the dry clothes. Lilly had also put her hair up in a bun to help it dry.

hahaha Just kidding))
Jake walked into the room, he was searching through the mini fridge as she came in. He had gotten some hot dogs and buns. He looked at her, she is soo cute.... He thought as she hugged herself. He then snapped out of it and said "Yea I hot hot dogs!" he said to her holding them up and shaking them around. "I am gonna stick these in the microwave and then we could have a movie night!" He said pulling out the popcorn. "Just one thing, I am going to go over to my dorm next door and change then I will be back. K?" He said to her and then started to head out the door.
He left before she could say anything. He knew that she would complain about him going out into the storm. Even if it was just to go to the next dorm he then went down the hallway. It was mostly quiet he could hear some voices but not as many as there once were...
After he had gotten changed into a pair of striped pajama pants and a black shirt with a hoodie and had gotten blankets he started to go back to Lilly's dorm. ONce he was there he said "Ready?" And then got the popcorn ready.

"I have hot dogs in there? Cool!" Lilly hummed ad she sat on the edge of the bed. "Jake," wad all she could say in protest to him leaving out in the storm before he had disappeared from her room. She lay back on the bed and waited for him to return. Her stomach had growled loudly, and she looked down at it, deciding she would eat one of the many now heated hot dogs before Jake returned. She stick one in a roll, and scarfed it down her throat. She smiled as Jake entered her room again. "Yeah, I'm ready. You choose the movie." she hummed.

Jake was thinking, "hmmm What are you in the mood for?" he asked her as he set the hot dogs on a plate and then put all the popcorn in a bowl. He wanted to watch a comedy to lift the moods of both of them and the school. Just to have some time to forget about all that was going on. Jake was getting happier he was kinda sad when he thought about their old memories.

Lilly grabbed some drinks from the fridge, and brought the plate of hot dogs, and bowl of pop corn over to the bed. "Hmm, a comedy maybe?" she asked as she grabbed another hot dog, eating that too."Unless you want to watch something else." she hummed.
