Livark

This wolf is a rare large species. It's past lineage includes the great ancestors of lions and bears, OH MY!
It's lives in small packs where it is Matriarchal. Led by a dominant Female with usually one or two male companions. There are subtle difference in the genders too. Only the dominant female is allowed to breed.

Egg: The egg is covered in a soft down and appears to have a milk tooth sticking out of it.

Hatchling: Livark young have very thick fur which protects them from the cold climate where they live. It sheds as they grow into adulthood. You can even see paler brown fur hiding underneath. They look like pompom's with little legs, a fox brush and little teeth nubs in the front.

Adult: When they reach maturity most of the downy hair falls away, leaving a sleek brown form with a thick black mane around the neck. They are muscular but long bodied with powerful legs. On their paws they have sharp claws that are like cats and can be retracted. Their eyes are banded black with reddish Brown Iris's.
Both the male and female have two very long canines, similar to a sabre-tooth tiger. Males have much thicker and shorter canines used to fighting for attention of the dominant female. Female canines are thinner but longer, like two sharp, slightly curved katana.
(As hatchling's Females are more likely to fight for dominance then and so teeth can be broken, so for a female to have full canines that have grown well shows her strength in battle.)
Size-wise Livarks are quite massive and have surprisingly thick bones for their looks. Their jaws are very strong and can easily break the neck of an Elk.
Females are a shade darker then males and their manes are darker too. Almost Pitch Black.
Males are more tawny in colour.
Ears are erect with black tips and their tail is thick and luscious

Alligychus is a working title. Combining Alligator with Deinoncychus.

This creature is semi-aqautic. It spends most of it's time on river banks, fanning itself.
A sort of cross between an Alligator and a bird. The Alligychus is a reptile with feathers.

The Alligychus is actually flightless as it's body is far too heavy and cumbersome to take off. But it does use it's feathered layering as a means of aerodynamism that enables it to skim across the ground really fast.
It is capable of lifting itself upright slightly when it runs. Using it's powerful back legs as an engine to boost it along. Carniverous but mostly eats fish and vermin. When in the water the feathers slick to it's side and are waterproof. It's tail is actually quite flexible and helps in speed through land and water.

Egg: It's actually a rather drab orange. Has a reptilian tail with a feather on the end sticking out of it.

Hatchling: Looks very much like an Alligator with only tufts of feathers at the end of the tail, eyebrows and a little on it's back.

Adult:It's body is low to the ground and elongated. Front legs are longer then the back. Body is covered in orange feathers. Particulary over the eyebrows and spreading out from the spine. They almost look like spines.
It's mouth is long with strong powerful jaws. Is covered with lighter and smaller feathers which slick back like a penguins. Eyes are small and actually on the side rather then on top of the head, with Thick feathers pluming back.
Tail is long and ridged.

ShardWolf

This rare magical creature is very shy. The Shardwolf comes in three types. RubyShard, SapphireShard and DiamondShard. Each one with a unique colour. A wolf that is made of a rare crystaline structure. It's eyes are two jewels peeking out. Survives on solar energy and hibernates at night. It can often be found sunbathing.

Egg: As you pick up this egg you can feel the smoothness of it. Holding the egg up to the light you can see a small creature resting inside. Seeming to reach for that shard of light.

Hatcling: You hear a faint tinkle like chimes and turn to see the egg unfolded in lightning cracks. Within you can see a beautiful shimmer of light/red/blue. Soon the cracks splinter wider before the egg gently unfolds revealing a very tiny animal. It looks like a wolf, only it's not. It doesn't even look really alive until you see two eyes open wide. They blink and look at you in surprise. Amazed you can only stare at these two white pebbles. A small whimper is emitted from it's crystal mouth. You can see sharp little slithers that must be it's teeth as it yawns again. You gently pick it up, thinking this almost figurine like animal is fragile, but it actually appears quite sturdy. It nuzzles it's cold nose to your fingers.

Adult: One day you check to see the sleeping hatchling only to find it's begining to change. The tiny little thing isn't so quite so tiny anymore. It's small nub of a tail has bloomed out and curled over it's back and now sports a striking Onyx tip. It's eyes, that once were specks have grown into wide gorgious looking multi-faceted jewels. They gleam. It's now still no higher then your knee and doesn't seem like it will get any bigger but it's certainly more alert and awake. .The little creature begins to explore the surroundings. Cheefulyl snuffling at every little speck. Suddenly it stops as the sun comes up over the horizon. It's tail unfolds like a peaock feather. Onyx tip pointing up proudly. It's head lifts up
