God I hate Photoshop. I tried and failed to make anything.

I use several lesser programs instead. Paint.net/Gimp/regular old paint.

I've made all my avatars but my first one.

Nice. Friend of mine made the one I'm using right now. I'm using it until I master paint.net and make something that looks presentable myself.

Yeah, paint.net is the bomb. GIMP I never got into.

GIMP is the first one I ever used, and it has served me well. Many a Zoo Tycoon 2 show-and-tell has been spiffed up with GIMP. But that is a tale for another day. /shot

I'm not used to it yet. Right now I'm using Paint.net to create a family crest for my Gryphon Lineage.
