Really? What I understood was when they got to level 100, 4 EVs = 1 stat, no matter when they got the EVs. And how do you prevent them from getting EVs until level 100? :orly: The daycare?
What Shedragon means is, until you're a high enough level (generally level 50 or 100), the pokemon does not get max benefits from its EVs. At least...I think that's what Shedragon meant.
Yes that's what I mean, from Lv. 1 to about 55 a pokémon needs 12 EV points for one extra stat point, from Lv. 56 to about 85 it needs 8 points and from 86 to 100 it needs only 4 points.

So as you see, the higher level your pokémon is when you start EV train it the better.

That... was the most amazing animation thing I have ever seen from pokemon.
But is it just for the games, or is it also possibly a new anime??
My gawd, if it was an anime I would cry with happiness.
But it's not likely...
But then again, those are anime kind of graphics they showed right there.

What I'm saying is it ultimately doesn't matter; the EVs are recalculated after every level up. At least two of the sites I've looked at say so. So at first it might be 12 EVs to a point, but as the levels increase the stats are recalculated so they will eventually be the equivalent of 4 EVs to a point.
So even though it might seem like you aren't getting the maximum benefit if you train at a low level, you actually are because of the way the game handles stats when a Pokemon levels up.

0:34, that's the title text stuff for Black 2 and White 2 so I think it's advertising the games(also, has never appeared in the anime-yet-)and the stuff at the end. I think it's just for the games(also none of the anime-only protagonists were shown
edit: Also, they keep showing pokemon outside their balls following their trainers, maybe they'll bring that back for these games? I loved that feature in HG/SS.
But that looked so awesome!

Yeah is the poison type eevelution I've made.

Edit: I've started on my poison type run, now I just need to get to Sprout Tower and catch a Gastly so it can be the first member of my poison team.

Okay, this may be a stupid question, but judging by the clip, do we get the same starters this time around (Snivy/Oshawott/Tepig) or are they throwing new ones at us?

The same since it not a new generation, we only get new starters for new generations.

It's just a trailer for the game. But if they made an anime like that I would start watching it. *.*

I have 4 pokémon on my poison run team now, I just need to train them a bit so they can be of use.

My team currently looks like this.

Ghastly
Ekans
Bellsprout
Zubat
