Okay so random... But I feel like doing another playthrough of a game...
Any suggestions?

Do a no evolution run, I found that really fun myself when I did it in my pearl version.

You must only use pokémon in their lowest possible form.
You can't trade for pokémon, so you can only use pokémon found in the game you play on.
You can't' use pokémon that can't evolve.

Would something, such as, Scyther count? His base stat total is actually higher than Scizor's I believe.

Scyther is the lowest possible form in that evolution line so it can be use, the base stats of a pokémon are not taken into account in no evolution runs. You only have to use the lowest possible form of any evolution line. Baby pokémon pokémon like Pichu and Magby count so you can't use pokémon like Magmar and Pikachu because they evolve from Magby and Pichu.The pokémon must just be able to evolve at least once so pokémon that can't evolve are not allowed either.

Guess that makes sense. I was just thinking, with the no-trading thing, he really 'can't' evolve.

The challenge does sound fun for gen IV though.

I tried doing a Nuzlocke on my Platinum - I lost. So hard.

Scyther's base stats are the same as Scizor's. When Scyther evolves, its speed is cut and the stat points that were cut away were allotted into attack and defence. owo

My friend decided he really likes hatching Pokemon, and he doesn't have his own game. A while back (almost a year ago, I think?) I decided I was going to try to breed for a shiny. He's doing that for me now. Saves me the trouble.
