I didn't like ANY of the starters. I chose Snivy though to start with. I dropped him from my party around Castelia.

Poor Snivy. It can be pretty useful once it evolves. :O

I have a poison run on my leafgreen rom I have to continue, lol. I forget what I had, but I think there's an Ivysaur, Nidoking, Golbat, and other things lol.

I've caught both Nidorans, now I just have to choose which one I want to use on my team.

Edit: I picked the male since he have better stats and a okay nature compared to the female.

I like Nidoking better than Nidoqueen.

I personally prefer queen over king, but the male won when it came to stats and nature so I picked him and his now a Lv. 20 Nidorino and currently my strongest pokémon, for now at least since he's the only pokémon that have actually evolved.

The 4th gen starters didn't have that wow factor some of the other starters had. But I don't mind Snivy and Oshawott too much, I just can't stand Tepig, I mean come on Nintendo is the third stater we've had that's a a Fire/Fight combination. That's just stupid.

Exactly! I mean come on! Some original typing would be nice! It saddens me that Empoleon was the most original starter they've come up with as far as typing goes.

Yeah making it a Steel/Water type was a really good idea.

Now what else have they come up with when it comes to starter typing.

Fire/Fight 3x (WTF?)

Grass/Poison
Grass/Ground
Grass 3x (Seriously?)
