Hello again. I do understand the rules of if you have a pair of manitcorn you don't get any but I realized I need a female Ibex or Manticore to hope to breed a chimara for that first quest. I understand how that quest works it just having the necessary creatures to be able to finish it.

If I understand the wiki right there is a certain chance to get a Chimera from an Ibex x Manticore cross?

I did get an Ibex egg today and I hope it becomes a female. Now I'm just looking for a manticre egg in the stream. I just didn't realize until today that they were both males.

Yes, chimera is a hybrid you get by breeding Ibex x Manticore

Do I have to do anything special to join? Some of the other sites I use there's a button or something you gotta click...

Enchanteddil says everyone's welcome. I didn't have to click on anything... We all just sort of congregate around the main team members that do the stuff. And the rest of us do a bunch of egg sitting and stuff like that...

Although that does remind me of something. I've been thinking... When I was a newbie here on MagiStream it was very hard to find help right away... I kinda had to fly blind for a little while before I found help and eventually the CBN Guild...

What if the CBN Guild created a Newbie Meet N' Greet forum or something...? Something with links to the Emerald Hatchery and a link to all the CBN head members' profiles and this shop and the guild forum? It could be a place to go for newbies to get the ropes of things. It could work hand-in-hand with the CBN Free Quest Shop. This way newbies could meet new people and friends quickly. When I first started out, I was like... "What do I do? Can I do this? Should I raise this creature?" And I was constantly checking the Wiki and it tells you nothing. And it could be the member's job whoever puts up this forum to watch the 'newest member' section on the home page and welcome the newest member to MagiStream! That's kind of what I did with JellyJaks. Plus, it'd be a way of more newer CBN'ers to help - like me and Firekitty91, since we don't have many gold or creatures. And I check the site...constantly. lol

Anyone can be part of the CBN Guild. No button or anything to click. But if you would like to put a userbar promoting the Guild or the free Quest Shop, by all means do. However, this is not a must

As I informed you, I had thought of a newbie welcome committee some time back (1 year or 1.5 years ago or so). A voluntary group to welcome newbies and help with answering questions and gifting them a few creatures to start off with. The idea was shot down, so I gave up on it. However, I will discuss with the team and let you know. Thank you very much for your involvement in the guild. We appreciate it very much

Does anyone know how often the platypus eggs drop? I really want one but haven't seen one yet and of course I have to click on all the other cuties so yeah...

I've got a new hatchling female Platypus. Help me get her grown and we'll find her a mate. Then you can have all of the babies you want.
