On a side note, who else wishes that mosquitoes had evolved so that they drank something other than human blood?

Oh oh meeeee! Though they can drink other blood, but I wish they didn't target us. I don't like mosquito's at all.

I don't think that's possible, the only way it would be would to produce a new species of Mosquito that would drink saltwater and we'd end up with another bug @_@

Yeah, my signature has some quirk where it randomly complains about something taking too many characters/too many links, even if it's one link and I take everything else out. *poking signature* So once I get it to cooperate, I'm going to start adding banners.

*has her first mosquito bites of the season* My father and I both seem to particularly attract them.... Bug spray does nothing, and my mother and brother never get bitten at all while my father and I are covered in mosquito bites. It's exceedingly annoying....

Well, technically only the females drink blood, because they need something in it for their eggs (You would not believe the number of times my cousins have used this fact as proof that all females of any kind on the planet are horrid abominations that need to be gotten rid of.). So if we could figure out what that something is, we probably could come up with something other than blood for them to drink.... Training them might be more interesting. I have read something about scientists breeding male mosquitoes to fly so that they're particularly attractive to females, though, and then trying to train them to actually know what to do once they get the female's attention....

Edit: if they're drinking saltwater, they're not drinking me, and then we can kill off the ones that are because they have a replacement in the food chain. I like the idea....

Try using tinyurl or http://shortr.net/ for links and imagecodes
As for the link thing you can only have a max of 15 in your signature so you have to keep track of it xD

I do track the number of links.... Currently... well I have no idea how many links are in there at the moment, but I just tried deleting every single egg and hatchling in it and adding one link and it still said there were too many. And too many characters; as far as I'm aware deleting eight links and adding one isn't likely to add over a hundred characters overall.... So I've got no idea what it's doing.

Tinyurl...? I've heard the phrase, but I haven't got a clue what it is, or how to use it.... Technology and I don't get along at all, if you haven't noticed....
