It's for the best, I guess. He's been rather sluggish lately and has been spending all his time at the bottom of the tank hidden away in his cave. As a top dwelling fish, this isn't really a good thing.
He got buried in one of his empty food containers, as flushing him seems like would have been a kinda jerktastic move.

This is the only response that makes any amount of sense.

Also, you don't know what kind of trouble the little thing could get into if it were able to grow up. It could turn out to be a super villain and attempt to get back at Mr. 2k for not allowing him to be part of the lineage.
Even if it does somehow still manage to become a super villain, as an egg it is far more manageable.

And, Gobs is right, if he hatched he could've possible plotted against me and made sure we never got to the most posted guild.

I don't think you understand that if he becomes evil he'll kill me, and if that happens...All the shit we store in the basements will get out, and after that, the inn will implode and cause an apocalypse.

Silly gobs, Paddie has Misfit, so he should be safely locked on the very last basement in the Inn which is located at the center of the earth, and the only way to get down there is go through our many dungeons and unlock many doors, and slay dragons, so....Basically you'd have to do every quest in Skyrim and reach max level, and be able to pick a master lock.
