I somehow totally forgot about the desert, and didn't visit it until post game, but I'm fairly certain you can access the desert after finishing the ghost trial.

I've been playing Silver (Virtual Console ftw) and w-o-w grinding is hell.
Currently training to take on the Elite Four.

Also I took over a Gym in Pokemon GO for the first time the other day.
Buuut it didn't last to long But hey, it was fun while it lasted

Thanks to college + mental health I haven't much energy to play my games unfortunately, but I have been reorganizing my Pokemon card collection. I had about half of them put back into their plastic sleeves before I ran out of pages..rip

Any progress on games I've made so far is EV training in Pokemon Y or Alpha Sapphire because I find it oddly relaxing
