I've hit a cosplay-funk right now with no money and no time, I have no clue what I want to work on next. There are a couple that we were wanting to do a group (Disney villains, for one) and I just don't know how to tackle it. This was the villain I was assigned because I said I wanted someone who was perpetually bitchy, that way I didn't even have to pretend to be nice.

Mmmmmm I think imma do Peridot from Steven Universe for my next con, if I have the money for it I mean, look at this awesome nerd lmao. Problem is, I have no idea how to make her hair. Anyone got any ideas? It doesn't need to have a hairlike texture, as long as I get the basic shape right

Aaaaah that looks like a super helpful tutorial Not that I can afford any of the materials atm, but I'll make it work ...somehow...

So I had this posted on my cosplay page and I'm really excited. I have done Poison Ivy cosplays, but I've never had a Harley Quinn. Well some girls (and guys) I know are getting together a DC Bombshell group. I don't have the body type for most of the bombshell costumes, which is okay because I found an alternative that I am absolutely doing.

1950s/60s Retro Black and White Harley Quinn



I think we are doing this group in February and this should be a fairly easy costume to make. I already have black boots that I'll just paint gray on the opposite sides. The dress won't be that hard other than the color blocks and the belt/collar. Gotta find some gloves, probably hit up the costume shop for that. Then the mask.... the mask will be the hard part. I may end up having my friend make it from leather since that's his thing.

I'm also going to be using body paint for the first time ever, I'm going full grayscale for this and painting my face gray
