What is Gravity Falls?

Gravity Falls is an animated television series created by Alex Hirsch. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, while on summer vacation with their great uncle ('Grunkle') Stan. Gravity Falls is a strange town ripe with paranormal and supernatural happenings.
As the series progresses more and more secrets are revealed, and just as many mysteries crop up.

It premiered June 15th 2012, and is currently in it's second season, the most recent episode having aired March 9th.


Rules:

1. Follow all the MS rules(no spamming, for flame baiting etc...) If it would break a rule of MagiStream's, don't do it.
2. Keep all spoilers for new episodes within a spoiler for those that have no seen the episode.
3. Be nice. People may have differing opinions on things so don't be rude. Discussion is fine.

How did you find the show? I kept seeing it all over my tumblr and one of my friends kept posting about it so I decided to check it out and binged watched in a couple days. While liveblogging.

Favourite character(s)? Bill Cipher. He might be a manipulative, evil demon with masochistic tendencies and probably crazy, but he has a charm you can't deny. Also, his voice did not sound how I imagined at all. And, he's part of the reason I started watching, well, 'Bipper' really(as in, 'Bill possessed Dipper', not some kind of ship). He is a magnificent bastard who's probably been pulling strings the entire time. Which is awesome. You gotta love a good villain after all.

Favourite Episode(s)? Probably Sock Opera, since that's the one that got me curious about it in the first place. It did not disappoint.
