Ahhhhhh I finally got Photoshop but now I'm too afraid to start a project because Photoshop looks really intimidating help.

Just do it. Look up some tutorials.

My friend just tried to show me how and it just made me even more confused. Oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.

Yeah, I definitely will. I'm also just gonna block out an hour in my day to mess around with it. I also need to learn Lightroom and Premiere.

Neither can I, actually. When I say that I'm gonna plan to do something, it really means that I'm going to do something I find enjoyable instead of something that I actually need to get done. I was procrastinating working on a paper today.
