Okay, no, I'm not really going to make you suffer through the entire flashback intro. That would just be sadistic.

Welcome!

This is the Shingeki no Kyojin, or as most people know it, Attack on Titan, guild!
Here you can discuss your favourite characters and episodes/chapters, and present your craziest theories and ideas.

Now, some people may not know what SnK/AoT is, shame on you, and, well, I'll try to explain it under the spoiler.

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest Titans. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a Titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a Colossal Titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller Titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single Titan and take revenge for all of mankind. Nominated for the 4th Manga Taisho Awards (2011) and won the Kodansha Manga Award shōnen category (2011). In English, the series is roughly translated to 'Attack on Titan'.

Trust me when I say it's way more interesting than it sounds.

Nobody likes spoilers, alright? Be considerate to others and spoiler your spoilers.
Not everyone has read the manga or watched all the episodes.

2. No flaming.
If you're here to pick on people, spam or just be a douche, I'll start the countdown to when my boot meets your pretty little behind.

3. Be nice.
Don't bash on people if they don't understand, or have missed something.
Explain to them what's going on if they want to know.

4. Look out for each other.
Not really a rule, but it speaks for itself.

5. Have fun.
Yes, this is a rule. Because that's what the guild is for, right?

Also, KEEP IT PG13!
MS is a site for all sorts of people, and above all children. SnK/AoT is a very bloody, violent series, and gifs and fanvids, if you post them, should be clearly labelled if they are gory or otherwise not PG13. An advice is to post the links with a warning, or spoiler the whole thing. We don't want enraged mods and scarred children.

Think of me as your own private little Levi. I'm super serious about these rules, and will ask you nicely to respect them and your fellow members. Please don't make me boot you or contact the mods.

Ah, thank you, Gryph. I've been contemplating starting this guild for ages now, but always chickened out.

But it's good now that there is a guild. We can direct our flailing and fangirling here when they release new manga chapters or anime episodes. Or collaborate on roleplays, or just chat away.

And I love the ask-irl-levi blog. They are so talented and funny and adorable.

Oh, that's really cool! I've been looking for cosplay items myself, mostly just to cosplay my OC, and maybe start an ask/RP blog. I can't really cosplay as a canon character because, well, the only one I'd look like is Annie (the nose, it's all about the nose here). Or a Titan.

But oh my God, episode 24. Jean, just let me hug ya. Poor darling is still wrecked but oh so kick-ass. We need more Jean and Armin love, I reckon. They're amazing characters.

Also, Levi out of his gear. And being pissy about it.
