Ugh yes we fecking do. I hadn't even watched past episode ten and I had changed my entire tumblr theme to Jeanmarco and was writing fanfic about them I've written more in the past six months than I have in the past six years and it's all Jeanmarco.

.... Is it just me, or has the activity in the AoT fandom kind of tapered off since the end of the first season (except for the people who keep up with the manga)?

I'd say yeah. The anime part of the fandom are trying to cope with the hiatus, while the manga part is flipping over Isayama's plot ideas.

Tumblr is still pretty active, though.

I should really get my ass in gear and read more of the manga, I'm at like chapter 23 so is not like there's nothing to read. I also still need to watched a lot of the specials.

I've forgotten where I was. I think the anime already caught up to the last chapter I read, though, so maybe I'll just watch season two when it comes out instead of reading the manga!
(Also, do you think that an Anime Guild and a Manga Guild would be too much alike?)

The only reason why I can remember is because I use My anime list to keep track of both manga and anime.

It does that?? Maybe I should start using it. It seems like a great way to keep track of all that stuff...
