"High school" are my trigger words. (I'm kidding, but high school was absolute horse shit nonetheless).

Honestly, university/college is easier than high school. Tedious and slightly nerve-wracking, but easier. Then again that could be just me... Or the photographic memory.

You'd think they'd think carefully before they had teenagers getting up at 5am to go to school, considering sleep deprivation is a method of torture. My memory's improved since high school. Shocker.

Highschool sucked >< I mean, I hate myself because I KNOW I could have easily gotten into the top 10% of students if I just FOCUSED. I plan on doing my utmost best in college though so hopefully it can make up for the stupidity of my teen years. I hope your being successful Jessi...be something I couldn't be ;-;

Ima be luckyish if I get my license before this fall I'm going back to workin HVAC and actually be in the apprenticeship program this time around which means every monday I go to school for like four years and apparently the first year schooling for the apprenticeship is super easy the first test is how and where should you put your ladder up when not in use and stuff lol. I miss working with my hands already, hell I miss work in general just making money is nice.

I think that high school here is a little different than there though. The only crappy thing about high school here was the work load (I'm not kidding when I say we once got 7 essays to do in one day) so.... Yeah. University should be way different to how high schools here are like. But don't count on me with that xD I'm imagining them as this huge hall where you sit and listen to the lecture, while high school barely differed from any other lesson we had had before

I did catch myself a depression during high school though. It crapped my art for a while and family relations went to hell during a trip then (It was horrible, I can tell you that. And thinking back on it, every single one in the family was a total idiot back then). Also the pressure of 'where do I study next, what do I want with my life 2.0'


But yeah, I'm better than average for the most part, and I too suffer from not focusing properly after like.... 2/5th through the first year *Snort* Bad student. But I certainly was not the only one. And I did listen during the lessons, just that my memory always forgot things when the next lesson started. And I did not eat, like, almost at all. Though I started eating like, the puddings for kids and such every morning. Regardless, my stomach made such a horrifying sound even if I was not hungry, the boy next to me got spooked and the most serious teacher in the school that would throw stuff at students, he just mimiced the sound and I was hella embarrassed xD Damn you stomach! I wasn't even hungry.

I slept all day in High School... Became such a normal thing that it didn't even surprise anyone if they walked in and saw me passed the hell out.

I think I fell asleep during highschool.... Twice? Trice?

Well, one time was during.... ..... 'Yhteiskuntaoppi' I can't remember what that translates to. It was the class/subject where I understood nothing. I was sooooooo sleepy. I just could not stay awake while reading the paper they gave us. So... I slept for 5-10 minutes, couldn't really do much about that

The second time was in a math exam. I just couldn't remember crap anymore. So... To pass my time, I took a nap. Then woke up as I remembered how to count one of the things, did that and I~~~ have no memory if I actually passed or not. But that was still kinda cool

The ??? thing is in English class. I had already done every task they had given me, so I took some resting time because I was so sleepy. Ended up on accidentally knocking my book off the desk and giving people on the other side of the room a heart attack (I did not have friends, but I wanted to get some sunlight and the batteries/heaters Might be on and nice so I sat next to the Windows, every other student was in the furthest corner of the class. *Shrug*)


Oh. And as a thought. What about that whole 'oh you already finished all your tasks, here's some more'
Like... Isn't that a biiiit redundant? If it's for 'oh, you'll learn more'. Eh? Like... I already flew right past these tasks, so clearly I know what I'm doing and am good at this, why would I need to learn more? Isn't it the others? And shouldn't I possibly be rewarded By there for having some extra time to focus on other things? Or take a nap to prepare on for the next class? Why make me do more things if I'm already better than the others in this thing? Why not the others?

to make you better at it? Idk redundancy was part of the reason I slept so much in HS myself, already knew most of the stuff they taught me so I got bored quickly, kinda like that with games nowadays :/ mastered CK2, and HoI4, civ 6 and 5, mastered all my classes on Diablo 3... Just gets boring after theres no challenge for me. So once I start getting a paycheck again I'm deciding to get into brewing mead. Seems rather simple the hardest part is perhaps making sure no dust/bacteria/flies get into it during the fermentation process.
