I'm starting to agree with what a talented and well known dA friend (not Apofiss, a different friend) said about the problem with tutorials on dA and elsewhere - a lot of people don't want to understand how to learn to draw more efficiently, but mostly want skills to be served to them on a platter, which is why she's very reluctant to write a tutorial on her techniques that she has, more often than not, figured out for herself over time.

My friend and I sold our crafts at another fair, and once again, I made back my half of what it cost to get a spot at the fair, and that's it. And my friend made only a little bit more than that. We have another bazaar lined up, though, that will be free, so we don't even have to pay to have a table there (of course, it also means we have to carry our own table with us on the bus, but I guess that's ok).

I went to a local DevMeet on Saturday, and now I feel significantly more fired-up about art than I've been in a long while. *A*

Started working on this. Pardon the boring pose (when will I ever learn), it's more of a design idea than anything else. Hopefully will finish it in the next few days.
