Lightningbug larvae look like little dragon bugs.
Dude I love cuttlefish too. Too bad I eat them in fishballs all the time.

Drago-bugs!
(Actually based off a dutilicola beetle, but the larvae are very similar to lightning bugs larvae.)
Cuttlefish are awesome but delicious. Dried cuttle-jerky

Out of curiosity, how many of us have a pet tarantula? and if so, which species? Mine is Grammstola pulchripes.

That pic is awesome, Cass.
*looks up tarantula* oh, that is pretty. I plan on getting the Antilles pinktoe ( Avicularia versicolor) but I don't have any tarantulas *sadface*.

Re: Bug-Lover's Club
Heh, she doesn't show her color at its best most of the time due to poor lighting in my room. She's actually due for a molt soon, if what I remember the buyer telling me is correct.
I actually took some time to decide on what species to get-my main concerns were temperament, longevity, speed and U-hairs. I considered a pinktoe myself, but ultimately decided against one due to the speed and relatively short lifespan of that genus. An old world T was completely out of the question-my parents were quite clear on that.Out of curiosity, what do you like about that species of avic? I thought most people preferred A. versicolor.

Aww the Avicularia versicolor is so pretty. I didn't even know of any spiders that were that colorful.

You think that one's pretty, you should see the green bottle blue (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) ;). Or for that matter, A. diversipes (which happens to be my favorite avic in terms of color). Heck, alot of tarantulas have downright beautiful coloration. I go to a website called arachnoboards from time to time-it's where I learned most of what I know about tarantulas, and where I got help in deciding on what species to pick. I plan to get a few more when I have my own place, actually. By then I'll probably get an avic-probably a versicolor to start, or A. metallica.

I've always wanted to see a spider molt in person...*shrugs*
And my original reason for wanting an Antilles is because of their color but from what I've read about them so far (still looking into them) they seem to be my type of pet... Their temeperment is docile, even despite their speed *shrugs* I may change what tarantula will be my first but I definitely want an Antilles...*shrug*
