Just do some digging in leaf litter and such. Though, it depends on where you live. Around here, they're very common.

Oh, and apparently the moth wasn't dead (?!), it was just playing dead. It started fluttering around again, but when I picked up the bottle, it stopped flying and dropped to the bottom. How curious.
