*Sigh* I always goes like this, I join a site for about a month or two and then I end up spiraling downwards towards the time where I never even log on again... I hope it doesn't come to that.

Oh yeah? How about both? :italian: Only we have a crapload of wolf spiders and I've only seen house centipedes once or twice.

The wolf spiders are cool, though. They lurk around my desk. My babbies <3 <3

Speaking of moths, I have a slightly injured and highly stubborn white moth on my knuckle. Typing with one hand. what do it won't leave

Moth fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. <3

I think the beetles get stir-fried? I'm running on internet rumor here, but curried beetle is apparently A Thing. (I like curry. I like beetles even if I don't normally nom on them. Sort of want?)

I like thousand-leggers; I think they're kind of cute. It's creepy to watch all their legs go at once, but fascinating too.

Jongarakun, name your new friend? XD IDK.

Is it normal for a praying mantis to hatch early in captivity?

They hatch depending on the temperature, I believe. So yes, there's a chance of that. You're supposed to refrigerate them during the winter and take them out in spring.

Frozen luffs the new crystalwing, Cass :yarly:

Guys. GUYS. I JUST FOUND THE BEST TUMBLR: F*ckyeamoths

So, did you know there are some species of moths where the females will only grow vestigial wings or no wings at all? The energy that would have been spent in the wings goes into egg production instead. The result is nekkid moths:
