I miss French a lot. It was a terrible decision to take Chinese instead of French. (College, with its choices is screwing me over far more than high school ever did or even could.) I think my French is really horrible right now. I forgot a lot.

(Jeez, I probably sound worse than French II students right now.)

Oui, tu as raison, on écrit toujours "j'espère que...". D'ailleurs, j'espère que le contrôle de SeaCrest s'est bien passé!
(Yes, you're right, we always write "j'espère que...". Beside, I hope that SeaCrest's test went well! )

Concernant les sentiments et les mots, je pense que le français est plus rigide et froid que l'anglais, mais ce n'est qu'un avis personnel.
(About sentiments and words, I think that french is more stiff and cold than english language, but that's only my personal opinion.)

Peut-être c'est parce que je ne connais pas beaucoup de mots, donc quand j'écris dans l'anglais, je peux utiliser plus de mots et ces mots sont plus similaire de comment je ponse.

Je ponse que quand on doit conjuguer un verbe avec le passé composé et quand on doit conjuguer un verbe avec l'imparfait est très difficile. Il y a beaucoup de règles bizarre en anglais aussi, mais pas comme ça. Ou peut-être ma prof n'explique pas bien. Je ponse que je utilise le passé composé trop de temps.

Maybe it's because I don't know that many words in French, so when I write in English, I use more words that accurately describe how I'm thinking. (<-- That's barely even close to what I wrote in French... )

I think when to conjugate a verb with passe compose and when to conjugate a verb with imparfait is really hard. There's lots of strange rules in English too, but not like that. Or maybe my teacher just didn't explain it very well. I think I use passé composé too much of the time. (<-- I think my poor grammar in French is leeching into my English...)

I have a question, but I don't know how complex the answer will be... What's the differences between the different forms of "it/it is"? Ex. I see "c'est" and "Il est" (I know it means "he is" but I've also seen it used for inanimate objects).

I also wonder about the many different forms of "it" I see, like "ca" and "ce"...

And I thought that the verb "to think" in French is "penser"? Not "ponser"? (By the way, how would you say "Not 'ponser'" in French in this context?)

Yeah, it's penser. I think you'd say "n'est-ce pas ponser".

Ma classe de français était un peu bizarre dans qu'il y avait plus d'accent sur le parlant et pas l'écrivant. Donc, ma...orthographe est terrible. Quand je dis le mot "pense", il ressemble plus de "ponse" et moins de "pense". J'ai toujour écrit es-ce que moins le "t" et oublié beaucoup de "s"s.

Le tableau dans cet site est comme le tableau que mon prof à donné à ma classe pour le sujet de il est ou c'est.

My french class was a little weird in speaking was emphasized and not writing. So my spelling is terrible. When I speak, the word "pense" sounds more like "ponse". I always wrote es-ce que without the "t" and forget lots of "s"s.

The table on that website was like the chart my teacher gave us when we were learning about il est versus c'est.

I don't have any of my french notes with me in my dorm room.

(Had to look up two words in the dictionary. Vocab can't keep up with my thoughts anymore.)

Me too. I'm Chinese, and my French accent doesn't sound very pretty. I speak with an American and Chinese accent. Blarg.
