The Ranger's Apprentice Guild - Guild Contest!

Welcome to the Ranger Corps! We meant to make one of these a long time ago, but nobody got around to it until now. Grab a cup of coffee (a delicacy, just came in from Arrida last week), take a seat, and let's talk. This guild is dedicated to the adoration, discussion, and celebration of John Flanagan's amazing series, The Ranger's Apprentice.

A brief explanation of what the series is mainly about, for those who haven't yet read the books. (There aren't any actual spoilers, spoilered because of length)

The Rangers are an elite group of archers and woodsmen, trained for years in the arts of concealment and cunning. They are the real protectors of the Kingdom - uncovering and stopping seditious plots before they begin, gathering crucial information, planning strategies that win wars, and keeping justice and peace in Araluen. The series focuses on Will, a boy who is apprenticed to one of the best Rangers in the Kingdom, Halt. The first four books center on Will's adventures as an apprentice, the next two skip ahead to show Will as a fully-initiated Ranger, and the seventh skips back to right before the end of his apprenticeship. The rest of the series continues from where the sixth book left off. The eleventh book is comprised of short stories from all across the series. Got it? Good.

Rules:
Well, we can't let everyone just run wild, could we? Don't worry, they're not difficult. Though, should you have trouble adhering to them, we shall have no choice but to banish you indefinitely.
1. Follow the Rules of Conduct. They're in place for a reason. This means no spam, no flaming or flame-baiting, no swearing, and nothing rude.
2. Please don't post spoilers for the series unless they are under an actual spoiler. Many haven't yet read the books, or are only partway through, and don't want the plot spoiled for them.
3. Please keep all language and topics at a G to PG level.
4. Have fun and keep a positive attitude!

Oh, you're wondering about the "Occupation" section? Just put whatever you wish. It doesn't really mean anything. Besides, everyone exaggerates the truth on these forms.

This contest is over. Nobody entered, so nobody won. Keeping this post in case anyone becomes interested in this again.

Ah, hello there. As you may well know, we have a bit of a situation here. You see, some erratic young magi/ranger has gone and turned all of our spare ranger necklaces into Farir. And all the Farir have gone and hidden themselves in our Archive room. So I've decided that, since nothing motivates people more than the feeling that they're competing for something, I'll turn this into a contest. What I want you to do is find all 75 Silver Oakleaves...er, Silver Farir, that have hidden all around this user's account. Some are relatively easy to find. In fact, we've already managed to find one. Here it is, so that you know what they look like*.

You may count this one as the first on your list, so now you have only 74 more to go. They will be hidden all over; most of them are hiding in the Archive Room ((AKA, my old posts)), but some will have found their way into the Keep and this user's personal information.
Now, since it's a competition, I will have to instate a few rules to keep you rabble organized. Break them, and you get one warning, then you will be disqualified from the search.
Rules
1. ONLY Guild Members are allowed to compete. If you wish to compete, post a form to join before beginning your search. I shall be on the guild very often, so don't worry about waiting to be accepted.
2. Send me your answers IN A PM. Do not post them on the board, or you'll ruin the contest for everybody.
3. When you send your answers: For the ones in a post, please include the name of the forum and the page number that it was found on. For the ones in other places, be as specific as possible!
4. If you send your answers in and some are incorrect, I shall show you which ones are not right. I will not give any hints past that.
5. When you send your answer, please include a teal ninja smiley to show that you have read and understand the rules.
6. The first person to PM me a complete and correct list of all Silver Farir, keeping in mind all of the rules, wins!
7. The contest will last until all prize packages are won, or until September 30, 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, whichever comes first.
8. Have fun! This is a game, after all.

Prizes
The way that prizes will work is like this: There will be multiple "Prize Packages". They will be distributed as such:

1st Place: 1 "of the Oakleaf" lineaged Mist Stalker and choice of 3 Prize Packages
2nd Place: 1 "of the Oakleaf" lineaged Mist Stalker and choice of 2 remaining Prize Packages after 1st place has chosen.
3rd Place: Choice of 2 remaining Prize Packages after 1st and 2nd place have chosen.
4th place and under: Choice of 1 Prize Package, in place order, until none remain.

This, in my opinion, is one of the best series ever created.

WhatNames - Yes, I've read the Brotherband Chronicles book. I liked it, and it certainly lived up to my expectations, but nothing can surpass the original series.
So, guild members, when the Ranger's Apprentice movie does come out (and there is a movie in the works, but recently it's been delayed by funding issues) do you think it will live up to the book? Who do you think should play who? Discuss!

I don't believe that the movie will live up to the book. Movies are always a bit too... ambitious. Compared to the books anyways.

*nods* But then again, I think it also depends on who directs it. I'm sure some of the scenes from the book will have more of an impact because if done right, the movie can build up the tension or suspense of them. Although I guess it all really depends on which actors they pick for the characters as well. But usually in my experience the book has more of an impact on me then the movie.

Quite true. I think that the best a movie can do is to not completely disgrace the plot, and at the worst... well, we'll still have our books. So, if you were to direct the movie, who would you cast as each character?
