I don't have words D:
Okay, so I was looking at the 'Ongoing anime' list on animeseason, and I found this thing called 'Nazo no Kanojo X' and decided to click on it. I don't usually watch anime that I think is weird, but I'm probably going to keep watching this thing just because it's so... odd. It's not the strangest thing ever, but it's up there. :wtf:

I also tried out 'Shining Hearts: the Bread of Happiness'. It looked pretty good (bread arts looked yummy ;a;) art-wise, and it's very light. I'm probably going to watch that too because the art is pretty.

I marked 200+ series as "planning to watch" (or at least check out) on MyAnimeList the other day. How am I going to manage that. xD

Anyway, finished watching Nisemonogatari just now. It doesn't entirely have the "wow" factor that Bakemonogatari did (perhaps I was expecting something a bit else, and the pacing of the actual plot is very slow) and was a bit too randomly fanservice-y for my liking, but the bizarreness of the discussions between the already-established characters and the ending completely made up for the shortcomings.

What is Bakemonogatari about? I keep hearing about it.

I heard about that mysterious girlfriend X show-apparently it's about drool, which put me right off of it. Not my thing.

I watched the first episode of Kokuro Basketball, which looked fun and somewhat ridiculous. It's about this guy who's apparently really good at passing the ball in basketball because he has no real presence on the court. Basketball ninja?

The other one I watched was Accel world. I watched the first two episodes, and so far I like it a lot. The main character is your typical male anime loser, but he's trying to improve himself, which is a step up, and the setting takes place in the near future where you can jack your brain into a network and participate in battles. Very cool so far.

It's quite talked about because it's relatively "unusual", I guess, in comparison to many other series.

Bakemonogatari is a supernatural series about a guy who had been a vampire for a while and who encounters 5 different girls who are possessed in some way by an animal deity or spirit, and how they get rid of their ailments with his help. The action is very slow, as much of the show is based more on witty dialogue between the characters, which definitely isn't everybody's cup of tea. It's one of those series that demands constant attention for getting the full enjoyment out of it, so for me it wasn't the easiest series to watch, although in the end it was quite satisfying. Like I said, there's a LOT of talking in this series. Thankfully, all the seiyuus are very fittingly cast and the main guy isn't an angsty heroic dude. I like the atmospheric art of the series, as well as the appealing character designs.

Is anyone else besides me on chapter 51 of Deadman Wonderland? I really feel like discussing it with someone and the only other person that knows it is a senior in my school and we barely talk :derp:

Death Note is awesome! I've seen it like 5 times! XD
Not trying to spoil anything, so I'll keep it vague, but the ending is pretty fitting. I like it actually. Keep watching it!

Death Note was OK, but after around 25-26 episodes (not spoiling anything), it seemed to just drag on. I mean, sure, suspense is fine, but when it's extended for too long, it just.., loses suspense? :wat:

Uhhhh... just in case I'm spoiling something.
Spoiler
Well, after certain things happened, and after certain people were rearranged, it did get a little boring. But for me (just... for me I dunno) episodes 36 and 37 really made it all up. I know a lot of people who hate those episode and a lot of people who love them. I guess I'm one who loves them, I just thought... they worked, I dunno.

Death Note...
Spoiler
...is awful after L dies. The last episode kind of redeems it, but the whole, "N and M combined can beat him!" mentality/explanation was kind of dumb.

Yay! Someone else is on myanimelist.net! What's your username? I like checking out my compatibility with other people, if you've rated stuff.

I've been meaning to watch Bakemonogatari...

When I first saw the title, I got it confused with Mononoke for some reason. Derp. My brain is obviously dying. I think it was the whole "bizarre and definitely not for everyone" description, which fits Mononoke really well.
