I thought that the main arc would have been better, if Air had been a 26-episode series and hadn't felt rushed in the end. I kind-of understood it on my rewatch, though. I didn't care much for Kano (the first girl, iirc), but I liked the Minagi/Michiru arc. I liked Misuzu's arc for the tragic atmosphere, but the story could have been so much better explained.Selinea wrote:I liked Air because two side characters were absolutely brilliant. The main arc, not so much, because there's so much mysticism and confusion, but I felt that the first two arcs with the two other girls were extremely poignant.
I wasn't able to rewatch Kanon. I didn't like how

the guy in the end chose the girl who was more of a friend (Ayu), although I thought that he had much more chemistry with Mai or, my favourite girl of the bunch, Shiori.
Also, I think that the reason why Kanon is the least memorable of the three "unholy" series, is because it's the most slice-of-life-ish, but yeah, lacking in humour.

There is also a kind-of mystical parallel storyline, but it isn't too bothersome. And it involves really pretty art. *A*
Also, in After Story, there is a tiny possible connection to Kanon.
