How is the Weekly Spotlight chosen? Via two-three number rolls from random.org. The first is number is between 1 & 26. This number chooses a letter. (A being 1 through Z/26) A count is done of the number of names that start with that letter, and then a number is rolled between 1 and the number of names in that letter. If a player has more than one army, a third roll will be conducted to determine which army. This will be based off of the alphabetical list! Weekly Spotlights will be chosen once a week on Thursday and announced once a week on Sunday. There will be only one per week.

Note the cooldowns & restrictions!
Army ~ When an army is spotlighted, it cannot be spotlighted again for 30 spotlights. Note that this only applies to the user's armies. For example, if TNHawke's Kraken army is spotlighted, her Kraken army can't be spotlighted for another 30 spotlights. However, horsemad21's Kraken army can be spotlighted as early as the very next spotlight. Also, say TN's Kraken army is spotlighted. Her Ice Kraken army (since they are separate armies) can still be spotlighted before the 30 Spotlight mark.
Member ~ When a member's army is spotlighted, none of their armies can be spotlighted again for 10 spotlights
Donation Armies ~ Cannot be spotlighted because they cost far too much. It would cause a major drop in what the community can do to give creatures to the spotlighted user if we ended up with a spotlighted donation army.

What happens if the same person is selected twice? Like, the first week, it's Person A, the next week it's Person B but then Person A gets chosen again the week after?

When an army is spotlighted, it can't be spotlighted again for 20 spotlights?
and...
When a member is spotlighted, (s)he can't be spotlighted again for 5 spotlights?

Yes, we have a week to gather specific creatures. Of course, creatures of any species can be donated at any time for this cause and they will be kept until a spotlight comes along involving that creature.
