Well it's not really accurate because Japanese words usually can translate into a few different english words. And other way around aswell.
The name is made from two Japanese words ~ Kuro and Shin
From translator :
English Japanese
dark ~ kuro, mei, kuroppoi, da-ku, myou, kurai, sumizome

English Japanese
heart ~ chuushin, kokoro, herutsu, shin, omoi, munesanzun

I just picked two words of the meaning I wanted that sounded good for me and put them together.
