Congrats on all the good news, guys!
That's always great to hear. Have fun at graduation!
Bringing the not-so-good news...
One of my Boy Scout troop leaders was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glioblastoma_multiforme
), a brain cancer that just never goes away. He's already had tumors and such grow back multiple times, and he's not exactly young, so it's tough on him.
He just recently went through another surgery--praise God it went well--but on the way out, he had a stroke. Now his left side is paralyzed. He's going to therapy/rehab to help it hopefully regain feeling and such, and he's made considerable progress. But the if the brain cancer does come back--which is what Glioblastoma multiforme suggests--I don't know how it'll be for him. The Wikipedia page says living more than a year with it is uncommon. Which is why I'm so scared/nervous/panicky right now.
Please, please, please pray for him, because we all know that the power of prayer is great!
